Do you only do SEO to drive traffic or do you use paid methods like PPC as well?

Which combination has worked the best for you? ie. ppc in the start but seo after ppc testing etc.

    Hi Li Weng,

    SEO can take some time, especially for highly competitve keywords. I believe PPC is an excellent tool to test and get immediate results for keywords you are planning on optimizing for. Before you invest a lot of time effort and money, why not run a quick test of your candidate keywords to validate their traffic potential and ability to convert.

    I often use PPC to give a brand new site that intial boost to get targeted traffic rolling and build a few natural backlinks while waiting for the SEO efforts to gain ground.

    Targeted traffic begets natural backlinks, which begets targeted traffic. Prime the pump and you can jump start you site with a six month head start.

    SEO can take definitely take some time but it would be permanent.

    I have already tried PPC before and it doesn't work on me.

    I am using 100% organic! Have not tried PPC yet but i am thinking of doing so..I have been hearing advices that combining the 2 will maximize exposure and also PPC will gives me a quick way to test out market.

    Well organic means you need 3 months to see results,,, thus you must go for first PPC which is a positive point for you when you will be doing SEO for your website...

      And here is yet another old post dug up by the forum spam bot: maestero2010

      This spam bot has now reached a post count of over 115 posts on this forum. At this rate it will reach a post count of over 4000 within 180 days.

      I have to admit whoever programmed this spam bot is very clever, it even managed to get two people to thank it.

      I noticed it changed it's heuristic slightly, it must have been detected on other forums. I especially like the "Hello dear" greeting that was added to the algorithm.

      This bot seems to be downloading the contents of this forum and matching up text snippets using keywords to match the text snippets. This is how it gets some of the posts to seem to make since, while most of them are just nonsensical.

      For some reason, moderators here seem to be OK with this spam bot polluting this forum.
