    Meta tags are tags you should have placed in the code of your web pages.

    They are a necessity to help search engines rank you.

    Meta tags should be place before the </head> tag at the top of your page just under the </title> tags.

    There are a number of different types of Meta tags, but the two your are talking about are:

    <meta keywords=" ">
    <meta description=" ">

    You should check with each search engine to see what they recommend as a good number of characters to place in each tag. Tip don't place more or you can be penalized and given a lower rank.

    Getting the right combination of keywords and description can be a real art form to get a higher ranking. But patience and perservance can get you great improvements in ranking provided your content and a few other factors also support those keywords and description of your site.

    Do a search on google for the best approaches for meta keywords and descriptions. There are some great tutorials out there. Good Luck

      I am not sure what you are using to get this littel report, but basically it means that whatever you have put into those two fileds on your html file - teh keyword and the description fileds, does not match up 100 percent to the content of your page.

      Make sure that the words you are using in your title and description are words and phrases that are in your content. That should help. If the words are already in your content, in order to raise your score you might have to move them closer together on the page.

      Its kind of hard to guess how relevancy is figured, but if you are using a standalone program or something like XSP, you are not going to get much credit for LSI words or synonyms on your page. The words and phrases pretty much have to match up exactly.
