I just put up my first site and I have been building back links to all my keywords, and I wanted to know if their was a free tool that helped you to check how your keywords are ranking with Google. If anyone has any advice I would appreciate it.

There are multiple tools available to do that. If you are looking for a free one, you can use link assistant. Just google it. Another tool that is very popular is Market samurai. You can download a trial version with full functionality for a week or so

Actually the name of the free tool is Rank Tracker from the company SEOPowerSuite

I second what alpha has said. Market samurai is by far, the best tool I have ever had regarding keyword research.... very helpful indeed.....

It's not free, but I use SEO Elite for that and other search engine research tasks and highly recommend it!
