100 Day Adsense Challenge - Ranking Different Keywords

Hey Warriors,

You just arrived at the 100 day Adsense challenge in which my coach and Google Adsense expert Matt Helphrey, and I are aiming to rank a website for different keywords on the top spots of Google. It took some time to put this thing together, it took a lot of courage to start this challenge, prepare everything, plan the steps, but now it becomes reality. I think that Matt and I are fully going to crack Sir Google and reach this goal.

Matt is an awesome guy, and definitely one of the buddies you want to work and hang around with.

What is the goal?

I would really love to earn 100$ per day passively with just Google Adsense. However the SEXY passive income is missing (you know what I mean), and I bet that most of you guys love it as well! I´ll do whatever it takes to reach my goal, but it´s up to Google and how fast he ranks my posts and pages.

Start 07.02.2011 – End 17.05.2011 (should be 100 days, but please correct me if I´m wrong)

Time to get back to the goal.. Let´s talk about our plan for the next 100 days.

What we have to focus on:

1) Creating content

2) On Page Optimization

3) Backlinking

4) Reviewing

I already created 50 blog posts for a pretty broad niche which are uploaded on my blog, and fully optimized for SEO. We´ll be creating 20-30 blog posts per month, for the next 3 months or 100 days. During the 100 days Matt and I will be focusing on ranking our posts for the blog, so that we´ll increase our daily unique visitors and also click through rate. As you probably know the better your ads are placed, and the more visitors you get the higher your CTR becomes. We are going to work 5 days per week Monday – Friday - Sorry but I´m a bit lazy haha – maybe some Saturdays.

Because of security and personal reasons I can´t tell you the name of the site, nor what the content is about. However, I´ll post once per week (each Monday) a review from our results, about the current situation and standpoint from our current standpoint. It will be posted on my personal blog which is www.GeraldGigerl.com, but also here @WarriorForum. I´ll be updating the challenge, and will make a note on the top of the thread on which site you´ll find the updates, so that you don´t have to search for them like crazy. Screenshots from my Google analytics will be updated once or twice per week.

Site information:

My website is new, just purchased the domain for about a week ago, it has zero backlinks right now, and they´re all going to be build in the next 100 days and also after that.
It is a broad niche with many different categories and keywords. Some are more competitive, some less.

Our Goal:

1) Ranking website, organic traffic, making money J

2) Teaching a duplicateable system

3) Challenging us to reach for more

4) Providing value to others who didn´t have success yet

Essential Attitudes:

1) Consistency
2) Correct Mental Fitness
3) Physical Fitness
4) Just doing it!

This is my favorite aspect of the business. I think it is important, what the **** it´s absolutely NECESSARY to be in the right mental, physical attitude and sustain fitness to make something happen in the industry. I know that some people only care about the technical aspect, but if you are not in shape you´ll get problems when things start running badly. I learned this from poker years ago. It is everywhere the same.

Here are some quick tips and also insight on how we guys are going to do the On Page Optimization (not all of the points count for our Google Adsense challenge, because we want to increase our CTR)

1) Start with the headline. This is what I learned from one of my mentors Ryan Yokome. This is probably the most important step to open the door for visitors. If your headline is bad, unspecific, boring and not attracting readers to read through your post, they are gone. On the other hand, if you´re content is intellectual, well defined and LITERALLY asking the viewer and inviting him or her to come in – you did a lot right. I use there a little tool which is damn sexy for this purpose - it is called Headline Analyzer and have been accomplishing way heavier results this way.

For instance: You want to become good at it, and this needs practice and understanding. A headline such as: “3 Tips To A Better Business” – is not so ATTRACTIVE like: “How To VIRTUALLY Acquire Business Skills That Most People Do NOT Have”. You want to trigger an emotional reaction by the reader, and the best way to do is to write freaking attractive content. Use the tool stated above, and you also want to stay above 70%+ to be an intellectual writer. This is learnable my friend. I mean, my English is still quite broken but I attract clients, students and also readers to my sites because I focus on providing UNIQUE information that most others don´t have.

2) Use the keyword in the first and last sentence. If you miss that your overall SEO score drastically decreases. We´re only focused on Google because it´s the mature search engine and used by more people than MSN, Yahoo and Bing combined. Google wants to see content that is specific and giving information to the searchers and readers. If this is the case – you´ll rank higher.

3) Use H1-H3 tags with keyword throughout the text. Again, it´s giving Sir Google what he asks for, nothing more. Carefully repeating keywords means that you´re constant with what you want to bring, basically, with the message that´s coming through your message, and that´s extremely good for our ranking.

4) Keyword Density: A general rule is to be between 2-4%, but don´t get higher UNLESS there´s a reason for a higher keyword density. I like to stay between 3-4% because that´s the save area for me. A way to check this, is by comparing the first 10 search results in Google for your “keyword”. Go ahead and see what the competition is doing. What´s the average keyword density from these folks? Very important.

5) Use LSI keywords throughout the text. You might be thinking. What the **** are LSI keywords? There´s another little tool which I´ve been using called LSIkeywords.com. Now, what this tool does is it estimates the additional keywords which have been used the most for one particular keyword in the top 5 or 10 results in Google. Google loves this as well, and this is a dummy way to get noticed for the long term. Check the words and two words from this checker tool and apply it.

6) Bold, italic, underline your main keyword at least once per text. If your post is above 1000 you can do it twice. The more content you´ve the oftener you´ve to use it. But not too often, because this might look spammy.

7) Hyperlink your keyword or related keywords (LSI) to wikipedia to relevant content. Make sure to also put in a title (your keyword) when you click on the link symbol. Find relevant information on wikipedia. I`m going to link to wikipedia at least once for each 500 word of content.

8) Outbound Link Strategy: Some people might tell you to always use the exact keyword or keyword phrase for pointing to an authority site as wikipedia. That´s not optimal. You want to use 60-70% the main keyword, around 20-30% related keywords (such as tips, website etc.. – in this post), and around 10-15% a variety of other words or phrases. Don´t forget that it has to be as natural as possible.

9) Add at least 1 image with alt tag set to your keyword. When it comes to “alt tag set” – always use your keyword, because than it will be found in the search engines by your keyword. In this case website optimization tips.

10) Create at least 500 words of content for your keyword. Search engines love long pieces of content. Pages should be above 800 words.

11) Link to one of your posts or pages per piece of content. Again don´t use to 100% the keyword, follow the tips outlined in point 8.

12) Link once per content to related articles, videos, press releases etc with the variation illustrated in point 8.

13) Use All in One SEO plugin for wordpress and mention the keyword in the title tag, title , description, keywords. Add something around 5 keywords so that you don´t look spammy (related ones).

14) Run every content through copyscape.com - It´s just $ 0.05 per search and very affordable, and avoids copyright issues with your competition.

Here are some insights on how we are going to do Off Page SEO:

1. Ezine article submission. 5 per week for the next 3 months

2. 5 articles to 9 other 'big' article directories during the week. Same article...different authors resource box.

3. Syndicate 3 articles to mass article directories 3 to 5 times a week – sometimes spinning

4. Blog comments. At least 10 a day 5 days a week.

5. Press release to a batch of free press release directories. 1 a week for 8 weeks.

6. Submit 1 video each day to 3 video websites

7. Use directory maximizer for directory submissions. 100 a week.

8. Use BookMarkingDemon to ping and book mark every page and every back link.

9. Deep linking though profile submissions using backlinksphillipines.

10. Contact various webmasters at high authority relevant websites to see if they will let me write an article for them. (This one is important!)

The On Page formula has been gained from various sources, and had pretty good success with it so far. The off Page SEO formula is from Matt. Personally, I´ve been using most of the stuff he uses, but differently. However, for this Killer Challenge we´ll be using his module, because he accomplished his monetary goal with it.

I really love sharing this thread with you, and I hope you will extremely benefit from it. We´ll post updates at the end of this thread. Screen shots will be provided below, on my personal blog..

I just have one question for you... How did you find a coach to help you do this? I've been looking for a coach or a mentor forever for an idea I actually had... but I don't know where to start my search...

Thank you! You just have to go with the flow, and give it your personal best. I had to put in some work to started this project with Matt.
Keep your eyes on the ground, and even ask people who are
pretty darn successful, who are where you want to be, and
than just do it! Awesome, we´ll start next Monday with
the backlinking strategy!

Is this 8 hours of work per day for 100 days? Isn't that going to take a whole year of making $100 per day to make any money?

We´ll see. I´ll give my best to reach the goal, but at the end of the
day it really depends on Google and what he does.

If somebody did it before, it´s possible. That´s all I want to know!
You´re right, think that it´s only doable if you put your ass into this

Hey Gerald, I see you placed more emphasis on a catchy headline, than having your keywords in the headline. Would you also try to incorporate your keyword in the "catchy" headline?

As a separate issue I've always found it VERY difficult to get that amount of keyword density into a post (2-4%) and have it in title, H-tags, underlined, bolded, italicized throughout the post, etc etc. It always seems to me to make a very VERY spammy read. I agree it seems to have some positive effect on ranking, but I fear at the detriment of driving real readers away. What are your thoughts on this?

EDIT: Also - no words on keyword research? Do you not think this an important aspect of what you are trying to achieve here?

(I know you don't want to give away niche or keywords, but how about an average CPC that you are going for - just as a pointer?)

Anyway - good luck and I'll be following with interest. It's doable but a tall order in 100 days, I'd say - but now you've just got to prove me wrong

By the way, I suspect you'll say about the spammy thing above (keyword density) that this is what you are aiming for for clickthrough out through a google ad?.

The best thing you can do is both put the keyword and
a catchy title in the headline. Try to combine both
factors if possible.

It depends, if you use the keyword in every sentence and bold
or italicize it, it looks spammy. You can make a decent keyword
density by simply adding 1 or 2 images per post with the ALT Tag
set to your keyword. Plus 1 hyperlink to a related page, post, article,
video or authority site. The more natural the better, but it shouldn´t
be too obvious and heavy.

Matt and me were talking about this aspect
yesterday. It´s better that most of your traffic
is organic, so clicks seem natural what they
actually are.

What would happen if somebody would go crazy and
click on your ads all day long? You obviously going
for high CTR, so it´s smart not to tell too many
people that you want reach exactly day, because they
might click on your ads like crazy. At the
end of the day this might harm you more than does
you goods.

You can still go with it, but that´s just my thoughts
after studying this aspect.

Very detailed plan of action. Probably the most crucial aspect of earning money is having a game plan/goals and sticking to them; which you obviously have.

Some areas are lacking/non-existant in your plan but this is stuff you figure out and tweak along the way. Best of luck to you!

Thanks! It´s tough to listen all aspects in one single thread, because
it would last for like 100 sites or so.

I agree, you´ll find out where to improve, put more effort into this
thing, and what to change.

Made more plans for backlinking and other strategies - they´re lying
in front of my computer! Make sure to stay on the line!

  Hy, we´ve a customized theme which is ideal for Adsense. Generally,
  it´s really basic, but different to woo themes and co. The categories
  are placed on the right side of the the blog. When you click of one category you´ll come to a page for the specific category, and from there on you can
  get to all the posts. The ads are placed on the top of the left side for
  each post and page, which makes it irresistible to click one of the ads!

here are the updates for February the 11th. We got
some new traffic, and already the first clicks.
(Will post a screen shot from my Google Adsense account
this Sunday).

It´s nice to see how your website gains visitors, even though
just a few. I mean, we are in the first week!

Consistency is everything!

Current Standpoint Google Adsense Challenge

Until now, we submitted one unique article per day to ezine,
one unique or spinned article to 10 other article directories,
around 10 blog comments everyday, submitted two videos
each day to different video sharing sites, one press release
to over 30 different press release sites, and we used directory
maximizer.

Let´s see how it develops next week. Matt and me will be
firing backlinks with different strategies next week!

That´s exactly what we are aiming to figure out with this
challenge. We want to see and define which methods work
best and which we can rather destroy!

It takes some time to increase in traffic, but by applying
the correct backlinking strategies, it´s almost guaranteed
that it will work!

We´ll see how the challenge moves forward in the next couple of weeks!

Hy,

we started the project for this particular site with around 50 pages in total, however, we´ll create and upload more pages consistently. Think that after a few months we´ll have at least 150 -200 pages for this site, which should become an authority site!

Well I guess with that kind of numbers you could easily aim for much more than just 100$ a day.

Sure! Everything is possible, it is really just a matter and question of consistency, and how continually you build backlinks to your home page, pages and posts.

Hey Gerald

I have specific question about the creation of headline and keyword research.

For headline that your wrote "How To VIRTUALLY Acquire Business Skills That Most People Do NOT Have" - I went to check the tool you give above, I was surpised to see that it say "Your Headline's EMV Score: 66.67%".
Question
1. how do you write it until it have 66.67% and what element must add to reach it?
2. What is the impact on your click through rate if you wrote like that?
3. where to find out the frustation, so it can add it to headline?
4. Do you mind if I ask you to providing few more headline for learning purpose?
5. How do you insert the targetted keyword and emotion element into headline?

I did not know that there actually have a place to check the headline, I am pissed off because I have spend at least 1 month to do some classified ads but to find out that my earning still in position zero 0.

For keyword research
1. How do you does keyword research, I mean do you target keyword that have at least 3-4 word long tail or search that have 1000 plus?
2.LSI keywords tool is malfunction? how to use it exactly, every time try it say error?

Hy,

you want to write a headline that contains the keywords and is attractive.
Practice writing it with different words, and observe the outcomes. This
will manifest in the way you communicate your message.

This is also appropriate for personal blogs. It´s not about somebody clicking your
ads, but rather about reading your content.

Search for one keyword in the lsikeyword tool, after that, pick the most popular
1word and 2 word phrase and try to accommodate them into the text body, but
not too often just once or twice per word (maybe longer - depending on the length
of the content).

No problem. You can set up your site around multiple keywords that are:

-Closely related
-Somewhat related

So what does that mean? For instance: If you want to sell fishing equipment, you can build your blog on the following keywords (just to name a few):

- saltwater fishing equipment
- sea fishing equipment
- fishing equipment for sale

Now, you can also go with brands ( I don´t know any in this niche yet) but you can research this with google keyword tool, maybe something like

- bass fishing equipment

You can even expand the information you are offering to sea fishing coats, sea fishing hats, etc..

There are no limits you just have to be creative, and think about what the searcher wants to find on your site.

so this mean in one tiny website must have at least 3-4 keyword to rank, is that right?

let just say, i want to rank fishing equipment as a main keyword but i think this can't be achieveable because it too competitive ( About 8,650,000 results (0.22 seconds).

So you are suggesting i go for related keyword like
"- saltwater fishing equipment
- sea fishing equipment
- fishing equipment for sale"

Is this your method to go for? correct me if i went wrong idea

You can definitely rank for fishing equipment - it´s just a matter
of time and consistency.

How many websites are you running right now?

You don´t necessarily need 59 sites and put up for posts on each
of them. What about if you would create a site on fishing (if that is
your passion) - and aim to rank for different keywords such as:

-fishing equipment
- fishing places
- fishing lakes
- fishing camps
- fishing books

That are just a few ideas that I found for categories LITERALLY
within 1 min. You can create these 5 categories and add 5 - 15
posts to each of them, using related keywords.

Put yourself in the shoes of the searcher and try to understand
how you can deliver him maximum value.

Is your site for Adsense, affiliate marketing etc.?

After all method i went through, i feel no good at all.
I have 3 website but i want to focus on one website first and if possible i want to rank 4-5 keyword that have ok people search number.
I went to try adsense fail, cb failure and cpa just my luck I guest.

Hy,

be smart, and only focus one 1-3 priorities at the time, if not you will get exhausted, trust me about that. It´s far more success contributing to work on one single site, but to work on it daily or at least a few times per week.

It´s hard to analyze a site without seeing it, and knowing exactly what you did buddy. Send me the url, and maybe a brief concept on what you did so far, so that we can move forward!

You can check it out on my signature below, that is cb product that i failure to make any dime money and probably you can do a check. I did use method from one warrior member but failure and try to get him answer. No respond plus dissapointed a bit.....

ok, 1-3 keyword at this time i will focus.

About the time I get into daily is about 8 hours. Note: I usually work 2 hours and take quick break about 1 1/2 hours - to time, exercise, and forget about internet a while and be refresh I guess. That is the time i spend

  of web 2.0 properties. With a wordpress.org blog you have full rights,
  and can control what happens on it, unlike to sites such as blogger,
  blogspot, because here the owner can always block your account etc.
  
  This is only a good method if you are on a budget and want to make some
  money to buy your own blogs.
  
  Yap, the goal is to rank different keywords for one site. We are not going
  after small niches, or ranking an exact domain. This is a long term project

The BIG factor of earning in Google AdSense is actually backlinks.

Like it or not, I know many folks who have sites with hundreds (minimum 100) of pages and yet still only earning a dismal amount of $300-500 a month.

Backlink is king.

that´s very true. It is also why we are building backlinks every single day. The quality is at least as important as the quantity, but the quality is probably way more important. You can get thousand of profile backlinks that gave you not much at all. But you can get just a handful of backlinks from writing posts for high authority sites and exceed the seemingly power of the quantity.

We are integrating everything that Google stated to look for on websites. This is a long term project, not a site that will earn immediate money, bu long term money.

There are so many factors that play apart, and only the RIGHT and continues quantity of backlnks make the difference in rankings.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, I've been struggling with a back linking strategy (I’m only on my first site). My problem has been how many backlinks per day and what type to target. Your plan is brilliant, I will scale it down to more realistic levels for me. However one query do you use automated software? What do you recommend? (preferably free).

I mean, my English is still quite broken but I attract clients, students and also readers to my sites because I focus on providing UNIQUE information that most others don´t have.

thanks for your message. This specific point you outlined is RATHER for personal blogs than for Adsense pages, and I should have made a note in the thread. I have tested it on my personal blog, and also other online marketers and they also made BIGGER progress with choosing powerful words, but again this strategy is rather for personal blogs.

I also found it more attractive and irresistible when reading specific posts on other marketers blogs, so it definitely works. BECAUSE you only have a few secs to get the fullest attention of the reader it is important to EXPRESS yourself in the most appropriate and valuable way possible.

For our purpose we are using the same structure you outlined above, but we just add the exact "keyword" we are going after into the title.

Hey,

you are welcome! Because it is an Adsense site, and if someone should decide to go crazy and click on my ads or even more people I could lose my Adsense account. If I would be optimizing for a product based website, you would already know it! But Adsense can be tricky, and you have to be smart and only tell people who are very close to you..

There´s nothing to say that somebody is going to do it for sure, but it can happen. Also is a person should decide to harm me and click on my ads!

Hey Mark!

Thanks! It´s going to be some effort to rank for sub pages and it takes time. However, I will also add smaller pages to the challenge with the purpose to rank for the keyword domain.

Mentor: You just have to observe a few, check their results, and study what they do. Find one that can help you get where you want to be!

I´m not using any automated tools for these Adsense sites. All links are build manually and they are all high quality links. No trash, or useless content will be spread on the net.

Surely, shoot your site!

Here is the backlinking plan for our main site:

- 1 unique article to ezine (every day) - this is not my style

- 10 blog comments (every day) - sure i can but how to find the blog? I mean do you check for the rank or anything else?

- 1 x press release (once per week) - how do you write it? from title,opening,body and end? How do you insert keyword?

- 1 x 100 directory submissions (once per week) is there any free sites or software can does the job? I hate to do it manual but I know I have to...

- 5 questions on yahoo and answers.com - do you post a link on every answer?

- Contacting 10 admins for guest blogging (each day) - what is this?

- 2 videos to PixelPipe (every day) - i can't share video but photo I could. video it takes too much of broadband gigabirt which I need to save it for each day.

I get a POP up telling me my computer is "infected" and I should download the AntiVirus program. Only way to avoid the redirect and download is by ctrl-f4. I have seen this on other sites as a forced cpa.

For the smaller sites you say:

"1 unique article to 10 article directories (4 times per week)".

Are you not going to run out of decent directories to post to soon? Yes there are a million directories out there but only 50 at the most are "decent". The rest are low authority sites where most of the content fails to hit Google index.

That´s right there are many article directories that are good and also many that are trash. You want to select the best 10 - 15 with high PR and which get your article published as soon as possible. If a site shuts down, I´m going after a new one. This happens regularly, but if you are consistent with adding new sites, nothing will happen!

Find related blogs dude, and if you can find some that illustrate the same information THE BETTER.

Sure, PR is important, but not everything. You will have to work on your site to get it unto top rankings. This takes time and requires effort. There are many points that are influential.

When trying to go to your site, your page comes up for about 1 heartbeat, then a full page interstitial that says my computer is infected and I need to perform a full scan comes up. I am guessing it is hitting U.S. ip addresses and may be why you don't see it or is checking to see if you have an admin cookie for the domain set.

It looks like malware, it could just be very aggressive advertising. It didn't do it in my chrome browser, only IE

I informed you weeks ago, told you how to find identify the problem by looking in the source code of your pages, and gave you a link to the solution.

I appreciate what you're doing and am interested in your progress, but myself and others can't visit your site until you fix it. Try looking at your site through a US proxy or just view source on any of your pages and look at the line above the closing body tag. Please let us know when the site is fixed so we can observe and cheer you on.

Strangler, I´m now in contact with my host or ex host whatever you want to call it, and I will solve this problem as soon as possible.

As Matt said, there is no problem with opening the site in Morzila FireFox, but in Internet Explorer.

I'll be following this thread, book marked this thread.
I have my goals about ad sense too, but mine will be a little of grey/white hat as I'll be using paid tools to do some back linkings and PLR articles spunned and maybe a few articles outsourced.

I'll have my on-page and off-page SEO planned out hopefully in 1 week time.
My goals are to make at least 20usd a day, by july 2 which is around 3 months time from now too alongside with 5 pure ad sense websites, using the methods used in adsense 100k and BTF.

They say the more articles, the better too. So I might just prepare 50-100 articles for each site
1 post every 3 days which is 10 post a month.

As for Back linking I'll be using AMR,SEOLR,Sick Submitter and Scrapebox.
But I'll have to do things consistantly and not just spamming stuff
So most probably I'll just submit a spun article to 500 directories for AMR, Create 20-30 Profile links a day with Sick Submitter, blog on 100 sites using scrapebox a day and using SEOLR for web 2.0 and social bookmarking and for indexing/pinging.

Just the general idea here.
But first I'm off to do my keyword research , 1 main keyword for the domain and 4 external keywords to rank for other pages. Probably 3000 exact searches per month and I've got to check with traffic travis for the top 10 sites to see if its worth fighting for.

currently implemented ad sense on two of my google sniper sites over at
Tips For Hair Growth and
Tips For Fair Skin

Have read all three pages of this thread and I would have to say wow.. I better start taking action too and see where this will lead me.

At first it´s really hard work. We are now getting a handful clicks per day and have been working for several weeks! But you have to think, if I can make 5 clilcks per day, I can also make 1000 Than things become more interesting. It´s not important how long it takes, or how long you need to get it going, because it will work for you. The only thing that you shouldn´t do is quit.

Thanks Gerald, I'm just waiting for my keyword tool to get fixed, currently the Niche Finder is having some bugs, but brad callen's gonna get it fixed either tomorrow or the day after, I can't wait to get started, most probably around the start of april.

Well the thing that inspires and motivates me are those little websites/blogs that are making 200-300 a month and people are selling them/flipping them on flippa for a lot more. These sites should probably make around 7-10 dollars a day which is really awesome and if others can do it, I'm sure I can put up a better job if I concentrate hard on my projects and slowly mature these sites.

My goals are to make around a full time passive income of lets say 100/day by the end of this year using 10 websites? 10 usd a day on each site. Some sites that fail I'll just leave them and start finding other better profitable keywords to test em out..

But as for now I'll stick with 5 websites, each website 4 usd a day, goal is in 3 months time to generate a passive 20usd/day income.

That´s cool buddy. I definitely recommend you to use Google´s free keyword tool. I think that Micro Niche Finder is inaccurate and not showing correct search volumes. Just compare the search volume of some keywords that you get from MNF with Google´s tool. You will see the difference. The free keyword tool is definitely more accurate than MNF.

I did a few of my researches for my past money websites with MNF. It showed for some keywords 5400 searches per month. Now it comes. After checking them with Google´s keyword tool, they only got 140 searches per month. I was ****ed off! That´s why I wasn´t getting any traffic even though I was ranked in the top 10 spots all the time!

Did your plan work out ranking different keyword?

Just want to ask, how on earth you do keyword research for finding high search and low competition? Is buying keyword you targetted or just keyword?

I agree some or most of article directory is trash, I do experience with it too and finding the article directory never been index by google. Which mean waste my time but if use automatic software done it for me, is ok but I do myself and find it ridiculous after all. I now no focus so much, I just focus 5-7 article directory that promise or at least I can see been index by google less than 24 hours. Now that is the coolest thing.

Gerald, is you want to rank a specific keyword much put it under anchor? I mean like article resource, which a word can be clickable. Does it like that?

Hey,

sure, it´s growing slowly but continually. If you are focused on more keywords you need to plaster the net with links for all of them and this needs more time. If you are just focused on 1 keyword and not on 80 - 100, you will rank the 1 keyword faster.

You want to vary your links man. Matt and I were talking about a backlinking strategy for smaller Adsense sites and if you are just ranking for one keyword = exact domain, you should use your main keyword to around 90 % of the time. That means that when I´m now doing backlinking for my articlewritingservices.org website, I would use article writing services to 90 %. This is just an example how it works.

There is no wrong and right way for this, but if you are going after a variety of keywords you can mix it up and use 70 % your main keyword, to 20 % variations and to 10 % random stuff.

When it comes to keyword research you definitely want to look at 3 components before even purchasing a domain:

1) Buying keywords
2) Relevancy
3) Search volume

Only go with keywords that are targeted buying keywords. Wall room decor, twilight posters and fishing equipment would be buying keywords. Logically if you are putting up more content you want to be relevant to what you are trying to accomplish with the site. Search volume determines the searches a keyword gets roughly in a years, broken down to a monthly average. I aim to stay above 1000 exact searches for each keyword. Most are above 1000 and some are under it. All in all, I like the 1000 K.

Keyword is an entire different story. You need to pick keywords that are

1) buying keywords
2) profitable to rank for because of your niche
3) less competitive
4) have a decent amount of advertisers

It can take some time to find keywords, but after doing it for several hours and days it will become easier.

I´m doing over 90%+ of the whole backlinking by myself. The only thing that I outsourced so far were the directory submissions. I´ve someone who proof reads most of my articles for the websites and guest blogging. It takes a lot of time and effort but it works.

one of your method is contact web owner and how did you persuade web owner to allow you put your backlink? I have a list of high PR and all of them I want to contact but not sure how to ask web owner. How did you do so the web owner allow you put backlink on his/him web? Did you pay or ....anything? I want to put my url too but no sure..

sorry for my late reply but I forgot to answer.

I don´t think that exchanging urls with other sites still work. I have heard bad things from successful SEO´ers about this technique.

Regarding the guest blogging: Simply look that the website you want to write for has at least a PR1. The higher he better. But you also want to take 1 or two that have no PR, why? Because it looks more naturally. However most of them should have PRs.
