Learn to be totally efficient with your work - create great content, then syndicate the hell out of it (articles directories, blog networks, video sites, doc sharing sites, social media, RSS, podcast sites if applicable, etc).

Get the most bang for your buck out of every piece of content.

You can go write articles for article directories, bookmark your posts, pages and
articles. Use press release sites regularly. Submit videos every week. Ask other
website owners to write a blog posts for them with a link back to your site.

Fastest way to get more traffic fast is Twitter and Facebook. Everyone knows that. Stumble upon if you play your cards right.

I'd suggest you take some non-satured network and work with that. There are a bunch out there. (bebo got satured but was good_)

You get more traffic by posting more often on her blog - every post is another possible value in the other - the more his followers to your site more often if you send your new job postings to the list correctly . creating new unique articles daily for your blog is a good way to get organic traffic. The content has to be rich in keywords that are being searched for.
use yahoo answers as well.
You can outsource most of this so it's not overwhelming.
