Do I automatically have an ADWORDS account?

I am assuming the ansswer is yes, as I just googled ADWORDS, and when I clicked it, it showed I was logged in.
I never set up an account or anything, I simply have a gmail&adsense account, along with G-reader and a bunch of other G services. I have a few questions for you guys.
1) Do I need to set anything up to use my account? Or am I good to go?
2) One last question, if I am a member already of adwords, can I redeem my 100$ coupon through Hostgator? I set my google account in Israel I think (can't remember), however I am now in the USA on vacation....Can I utilize the coupon from US soil?


Sorry for all the questions, I'm just worried I'll screw something up.

    You have to set up an account, including a credit card#, you are probably just logged into a general google account. You certainly want to take advantage of the new account only $50 - $100 gift vouchers, which you should look at as a ppc scolarship, odds are you will not profit from your first adwords ads.

    Apply that code quickly if you have already opened an adwords account!! Since most of their coupons (if not all) are for new accounts! Just FYI.

    Sadly it hasn't worked....I guess when I first signed up from Israel, my IP was saved and therefor I cannot redeem the coupon. Not the end of the world, just a bummer.
    I anyway never intended to use ADWORDS, however a 100$ freebie is a good insentive.
    I guess I'll just leave it at that, as I do not know ANYTHING about ADWORDS.

    Oh!!! I had that coupon code too and I let it go because at the time I was not ready to spend any money on Adwords.

    But I have another question though and it goes to those who host with godaddy. Does the free google ads they give you when you open a hosting account allow you to use it without spending any money or do you still need to use it as that of google's coupon where you are required to activate the code by spending say $10 or $20?
