I would still stick to doing it yourself for any new sites you are building.

you can either A outsource your work and have guys
doing it for you, do it yourself manually (which I don´t
recommend because it sucks a lot of your time), or you
can use tools.

It depends on how much you value your time. I have noticed the best links I have received are ones I do myself. You could hire a virtual assistant for $300 a month though, that may be something to look into!

I prefer manually but If of you've lacking of times then you should go for outsourcing. there are many outsource sites where you can find capable contractors to assign your job in a cheap rate because most of the workers of their from third world country where the $exchange rate is higher. But you'll have to assist them properly.

Have a look at companies that manage a large number of "virtual assitants". They are a bit easier to teach (as they get initial training with the company) and it's much easier to scale this way (if/when needed).

I kinda want to outsource some of my backlinking but it feels hard to trust an employee to manage and do a good job with all my article distribution services that I currently use. I need to free up time though so eventually I'll have to do it!

You can try to outsource your backlinking. There are lots of easy outsource available on the market today. You can try onlinejobs.ph or easyoutsource.com. Explore and see it for yourself. But if you are unsuccessful in finding a trustworthy virtual assistant, then I guess you have to do the backlinking on your own. Wish you luck.

Make a cost and benefit analysis, if you are good at finding and creating backlinks then do it yourself or hire some students in your area, train them how to build links and monitor them on daily basis. They can work for you from their homes, so no setup cost involved, just training time is cost.

You can hire linkbuilding service providers from different portals like oDesk, Freelancer, Elance etc. What kind of linkbuilding you are looking for?? There are many linkbuilding offer WSO here at warrior that are much better than any other platform offers. Most of the WSO are result oriented with a lot reviews by their users so if you want to increase rankings so I will suggest moving into WSOs and finding best service for you.

definately continue to do some yourself. There are a lot of good offers on this forum but there are also a lot of bad ones, you just need to test them first and then make up your own mind about what works and what doesnt.

It's good if you did it manually, at least your assured of what you are doing, but if of you've lacking of times then you should go for outsourcing. There were many outsourcing companies out there, check it out and see it for yourself what company best suits for your needs.

There are many outsourcing companies out there. Just always have a detailed description for the job that you want to be done in order to have a smooth flow of outputs from outsourcing companies. You can try oDesk, there are a lot in there.

  You need to first check profile of outsourcing company or the past work of the individual who will be working for you then you should decided for outsourcing your link building campaign ( if you are short at time ) else link building is "Do It Yourself" job for better results.

It comes down to how you want to spend your time, and what it is worth to you. By doing it yourself, you ensure it gets done correctly.

But by leveraging the time of others you can take on more clients and campaigns. I outsource most of my SEO projects to trusted outsourcers that I've built great relationships with over the past few years. You can find some great people here on the WF or check out Freelancer, odesk etc.

i started manually. but sites like fiverr make it too easy to outsource. i got 5k backlinks for $5. cant beat that
