This depends on what kind of links you have in your current backlink portfolio. If you only have blog comment links so far, you obviously would want other kinds of links than just blog comments again. Care to share more details?

Well, I have other services I don't offer publicly, not just profiles. That being a monthly seo service for example where you get a ton of different kinds of links, all put together for an advanced seo strategy. Nothing you would be able to do with the standard seo tools. Let me know if you're interested.

Do a search for some of the India SEO companies. Prices are good and they hunt around for good blogs, write articles as guest writer and submit your link(s). If I was going to pay someone to do it, that's what I would do.

When picking an SEO service. I suggest not going offshore unless you KNOW the quality you are getting. A lot of offshore SEOs can't even spell SEO and the results are very poor.

You need to go for a monthly service with a wide variety of backlinks per month to get you some decent results.

My advice, pick four of the best looking offers here at the forum, quiz the owners about various tactics and strategies they use, ask for example and testimonials.

Base your decision from these.

I recommend hunting on Odesk.. Make sure you ask them to send some of their work... previous articles..etc

SEO services from India are not bad at all.. but you have to hunt for the good guys. I have tried USA people also and have been very disappointed. Just because they are US they still can suck.. I def recommend asking for previous work.

Good point, research really is the only way to go when searching for backlinking services.

oDesk can be a painful experience when searching for entire SEO strategies. You are often better off hiring multiple people for different tasks to ensure quality but this can get quite pricey.

As long as you ask for previous work you will at least have a better chance of ranking well anyway.

I pretty much rather invest into someone to work with me in the future rather than pay for services that isn't my initial contact working for me. You should think about outsourcing your backlinks and building a relationship with a team. It's not that hard to do, if you follow the right guidelines. You'll have a nice outcome in the future.

I used SEOjuice.net and the owner Dave is a very sincere guy always answering my newbie seo questions with full details. So far I have subscribed to him for near 1 month and am very happy. It does provides different backlinks like blog posts...comments..article...etc you can check it out if you are interested
