For specific products which keyword is ultimately more profitable "product name or "product name review"? Product name typically has far more traffic but is product name review more targeted and therefore more profitable?

Short answer is 'product name review'.

You want to target people who have their credit cards out and ready to make a purchase.

People who are searching 'product name' may just be after information.

People searching 'product name review', 'buy product name', 'product name best price', are the ones you want to target.

They have already done their research on sites they found while searching 'product name', they are now searching for a site to purchase from. - This is where you want to be in front of their faces.

  • Focus on ranking page 1 of Google for both keywords. That way you can be extremely profitable.
