A Few Questions...

I've been lurking around the forum for quite some time and decided to finally sign up so I can really get a start.

I've come up with the following questions in regards to building an Adsense/Micro Niche Site:

When you have a niche in mind and you are using Google Adwords to determine monthly searches, what is general rule of thumb for monthly page views to have a successful Adsense website? How effective is matching domain names to the keyword you are targeting?

When you have a niche site that is based around a topic that is always being updated what is the best way to format your site URLs? For instance - let's say that I have a niche site about New York Times Bestsellers - and my website is "NewYorkTimesBestsellers.com"?

Mixing Amazon and Adsense - good/bad? Would that make the page feel "cluttered"?

I appreciate any and all feedback and help!

    You want an exact match domain.

    I don't really pay attention to a specific number of monthly searches, but rather use a formula for monthly potential earnings:

    (Exact monthly searches) * (CPC) * (.25) * (.1) * (.4) = monthly potential earnings

    25% is about the percent of CPC you earn.
    10% is my CTR estimate.
    40% is the traffic estimate with the #1 spot in Google.

      For some affiliate networks (not Amazon) its a no-no if you are selling affiliate products. Otherwise it should be ok unless they are a big and very well known established brand that could construe your site as taking business from them. Always check.

        A domain that I'm looking at is available for both but I am not sure if I should I purchase both.

        Also, where can I find information to use categories from Wordpress to be included into the links that display underneath your website URL when it's searched? What is this called? For instance, if you go to Google and search "New York Times" you'll see the New York Times link and underneath it links to Today's Paper, Business, Opinion, Etc.

        Finally, it best submit my website to be crawled by search engines or let them do it automatically?
