Please Help me get indexed by Google!!!

Hey Guys,

Im currently working on a friends site and was throwing backlinks at this site for about one week with NO luck, Google, Yahoo etc had not indexed it. I then noticed the privacy setting was turned on in Wordpress, so we obviously turned that off. Now it has been a few days and its still not indexed, is this normal? How long does it normally take for Wordpress sites to get indexed?

The funny thing is if i type "thesite.com.au" into Google on the fourth page of results it will bring up one or two of the inner pages to the site.

Please Help!

We need to get this site indexed ASAP, and Yahoo is showing 50+ backlinks so i thought it would have happened by now....

    Are you sure your robots.txt is not blocking the page with a noindex tag?

      Well previously when i looked at the source code there was a noindex nofollow tag. I then noticed this was due to the privacy been turned on in the Wordpress control panel. Once the privacy setting was turned off the noindex / nofollow tag was removed.

      Is there other noindex tags i need to remove?
