You only get paid on clicks as well right?

    It depends what niche your in and it depends how good your website is laid out.

    I used to make a lot from adsense with an arcade website with google ads mixed in with a picture of a game next to it so people thought they were clicking a game.. Worked a treat until I sold it for a nice amount of money.

    It all depends though just one click could get you $1+ depending on the niche.

    You could make 1 dollar with 1 000 000 visitors to your site and you could make 100 dollars from 10 clicks.

    With adsense, it depends on what keywords you are targeting.

    I think you could try to look at Spyfu. It will give you a starting idea about adsense possible income.

    Income from Adsense depends on your niche. Depending on your niche you may make $0.01 or >$10 or more.

    Another thing, you only get a portion of the CPC amounts you see. I think it's around 68%.

    Adsense pay is all across the board. I like to estimate about 50% of the Average cpc that the google keyword tool shows.

    I have credit related niches that pay $1+ all day long.
    Then I have hobby sites that pay 15 cents.
