THIS THREAD CAN DIE NOW - I HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED - THANKS TO ALL WHO COMMENTED

OK, I am totally frustrated and coming to the warriors for help. I am trying to get my blog approved for adsense. When I submitted my site - I got the following email....

-------------------------------------------------------
Hello,

Thank you for your interest in Google AdSense. Unfortunately, after reviewing your application, we're unable to accept you into AdSense at this time.

We did not approve your application for the reasons listed below.

Issues:
- Domain ownership

---------------------

Further detail:
Domain ownership: To complete our review of your website, we need to confirm that you have access to the HTML source code of the URL you've submitted or were given access to AdSense via a third-party platform.

I. If you host your own website or can edit the HTML code, please complete the following steps:

1. Access the HTML source code of www.howtomakemoneyonfacebook.com.
2. Create a separate page on the site and paste the snippet:

<p>This post confirms my ownership of the site and that this site adheres to Google AdSense program policies and Terms and Conditions.</p>

3. Resubmit the application as described below after replacing www.howtomakemoneyonfacebook.com in the 'Website URL' with the URL of the page on which you have pasted the snippet.

----------------------------------------------------------------

so I made a page called GoogleAdsense.html and resubmitted with the url http://howtomakemoneyonfacebook.com/googleadsense.html - but I got the same response again. I've done this over and over and have been getting rejected all day. I'm at the end of my rope. Does anyone have any suggestions??

As I'm sure you realize, Google wants to confirm that the site you are using for your Adsense application is actually your site.

I would wait a day and re-submit; if you still get the same response, contact them via Adsense help. You might also want to double-check that you're following the instructions to the letter, specifically -replacing- the main URL in the letter with the new URL, and not just re-submitting it as-is, but with the new URL -in addition-.

They just want to make sure that it is your domain, and you are the official owner of it. So, make a new page, called it "Adsense.html" or whatever. Then paste the line of code on the new page:

<p>This post confirms my ownership of the site and that this site adheres to Google AdSense program policies and Terms and Conditions.</p>

Then resubmit your application and make sure to give them the URL of the new page you just made. That will prove to them that you can modify the contents of the site, effectively proving you are the owner, or at least have access to it.

If they are asking you to do this, you likely don't have analytics setup on it either. So if you don't have it, just go to Google Analytics, make an account, and it will tell you how to install it on your website. The adsense program really likes it when their users also use analytics, and also webmaster tools too.

Really? Did you even read my post? I've followed their directions and have resubmitted at least 10 times today - I just keep getting the same email response over and over. Perhaps someone who's actually been through this problem can offer some help?

I don't know why you keep getting rejected with the same form letter but I do know that your site doesn't meet Adsense requirements fully. I know that you need to have a privacy policy now and there may be something else that I'm not thinking of off the top of my head.

That being said, are you sure you want to add Adsense on that particular site? With all the focus on affiliate products that you have, Adsense could very well lose you the chance to make sales. Sales will make you a lot more money than Adsense, particularly about Facebook.

you make a very good point Tina... i just wanted to put Adsense on it because I thought it was "the thing to do" - but perhaps Adsense isn't right for that site

dont look at the reason they gave u for disapproval . It clearly indicates that your site doesnt meet their minimmum requirement.
adsense mostly look for genuineness in any publisher application. If your site has TOS, about , sitemap , minimmum 50 posts and some traffic then they will surly approve you.

if you are from any asian countries then the chances of approval is low.

increase your alexa rank , write some genuine posts , build some traffic and then apply again . Belive me they are not much strict.
