Repeating keyword in domain name

Please don't go with a domain name like "glutenfreedietlowcarbdietrecipes.com" That just looks ridiculous.

Think about it, even if that did show up ranking #1 in the SERPs, would you even click on that domain? It's hard to even read it at that point.

Pick one main keyword you want to target and use that as your domain. Then build pages using the other related keywords you want to target within that website.

If you want to find other related keywords, google's wonder wheel works really well.

I doubt someone knows the answer to this but if you want to include all keywords in domain, go ahead, but give your domain a friendlier name by adding hyphens between the keywords such as

low-carb-diet-recipes-gluten-free-diet.com

My gut feeling tells me that SE's would not penalize you but who knows. If you don't want to take the risk, go with low-carb-diet-recipes-gluten-free.com since gluten free diet gets less searches anyway.

I guess, as a newbie, what Im trying to understand is, if Im trying to target 2 specific phrases that people are searching for and they both contain one or 2 of the same words, (in my example, diet, and recipes) do I need to repeat that in my domain name? Or because of broad match searching, is the repeating of words unnecessary?

So in my example I want to target the phrases "gluten free diet" and "low carb diet", and most people search for these things in that specific order. So, do I need to put those phrases in the domain name in that order, (glutenfreediet-lowcarbdietrecipes.com) or can I skip the first use of the word diet (glutenfree-lowcarbdietrecipes.com) and still get the people searching for gluten free diet recipes? I guess Im just not sure how much exact matching works if people aren't actually typing their search in quotes.

I know putting all the keywords in makes it look long and ugly but never mind that right now, Im just trying to understand how the search engines work, thus the long and cumbersome domain name example.

Also, I hear what you are saying about just targeting the 2 markets separately but if they are both already high high competition as individual markets, Im wondering if combining them (as they are similar) puts me in a a lower competition niche or whether if just put me in both high competition niches.

I also appreciate the suggestion of the hyphens to make along domain more readable.

No No No, this would not work simply because google uses the domain keywords as a percentage of the search for example, when you search for something your results will give you the domain names. The keywords that you searched for will be highlighted in the domain name so you see that domains do have an importance in SEO. However you should not make a super long tail phrase because that will split the emphasis of keywords. Stick to one domain name for each.

The problem of repeating keyword in domain name is very irritating at some points of time. If we want a site to rank well for the combination "keyword keyword" the, I believe repeating the same keyword in the name helps. We cannot think of an ideal example where this practice can be applied genuinely. Please produce some more attachments for more detailed view.

That not a good idea !!!! domain is too long and is hard to remember by your visitors.
Google might take it as spam website due to spam of keywords , don't try to hard to put much keywords in one domain . Is better to put in your web content rather than domain name. You might just kill your domain and take it in risk of google sandbox.

Make your site with simple and content primary keywords will do .

Never used a super long tail keyword. It's hard for the people to remember ur website. Better concentrate in writing articles with different keywords it helps more to rank ur website rather than having a super long domain name

I would go against using keyword for domain name because they have less value in SEO than they used to. Plus, you are also limiting the growth of your site (if you want to go beyond diet, you will need to use or purchase another domain name).

Go for name that is easy to remember instead and grow from there.
