    .

These key points can be accepted while you compete for high PR in search engines. But i don't think the URL structure could have any impact on PR. It is only reference rather than any pre determined structure.

I guess it would depend. A clean and easily crawled URL structure can and does affect indexing and link-juice transfer. If you have deep-links to your site, then this could ultimately affect the PR of your TLD...theoretically.

Links are the most important factor in the field of SEO, as they act like votes or references. When another page links to yours, search engines recognize that page as referring to yours, giving you priority. This stresses the importance of getting links in other pages for better ranking. This works the other way around too, so keep it to a minimum.

every time i read post in this forum my head starts to spin...the reason is what is fact about ranking and serp's

on one side i hear that building quality back links is the only way to go up in the rankings..

then from another side i read where there is virtually no back linking but more or less "sniping" your way to the top.

like i said one of these days my head is going to explode.

This thread just shows why I love Warrier Forum so much. I want all my competitors to come here to learn their SEO from you guys.

PageRank is based totally on links. It has nothing to do with content, anchor text, page title etc.

The ranking of a page has every thing to do with links, content, anchor text, page title etc.
