When I someone uses blog commenting to help with their seo.

Do you put your keyword in the hyperlink text like<a href=wwww>

or do you put your keyword as your name of the person commenting on the post?

Also, do you need to ping you backlinks or will they get indexed later on in the future?

I am doing blog commenting too, and I use my keyword as a name, I don't include live links on the comment it is very obvious, and just like what have said pinging the backlink is considerable too since you are linking to them. But the most important is to do commenting on the related blog sites.

Most people put the keyword as the name. Also, you don't need to ping the page, as it will likely already be indexed and Google will come back and crawl the page.

Don't leave any links in the comments, which may be considereda as spam. Just leave your URLs at the signature part in the theme related blogs.

We can try both option during to blog commenting. Many times keyword text is no follow and name field is good then everyone using name field as keyword.

It depends, do follow blog commenting is very essential..!! Whenever I comment on any blog, yes I use an anchor tag, otherwise, some of the blogs provide you with the link box, same as in forums...!! So that is the easy way too..!!

Don't leave links in your comment, otherwise it would automatically be seen as spam. If you have to, just make sure it is highly relevant to the discussion. And yes, put your anchor text in the name field.

if you put your links in commenting section then it will be consider as a spam so its better to put your keyword in name section.

If you put targeted keyword while performing blog commenting, that would be best. But some blog sites don't approve your comments when you use keywords. In that case you can use your name.

I usually put my keyword in the name section, so I think it is not considered as spamming.

      Hello ,
Blog commenting might not seem as the best and primary solution in terms of building links for websites but I guess they are still useful up to a degree. They can be one way links and if coming from relevant blogs, that would be even better. You can find even some top ranking sites gathering a few blog comments from time to time.

Although links coming from within contents of the pages or articles could be very great in most cases, if the pages topics closely match with the recipients niches, but it is still useful to leave useful replies on a few quality blogs.

I use blog commenting as a link building technique and I'm getting great results. Don't stick with software, do manual blog comments on high quality blogs. I think Google will slap blog commenting soon...

I put links on the username not in the post. It will look spammy if you will do that. Although, for keyword promotion purposes it is good.

Some blogs have plugins that allow you to use @ <Keyword> in the name field. These are helpful for your backlinking as well.
