Hi, I have built a few sniper sites and have got them on the first page or close to but I have not yet had any sales. This is most frustrating as I have been following the sniper instructions pretty much. I am using seopressor as well with socrates in wordpress and have high seo scores for on-page seo. the only thing I havn't done is cloak my affiliate links yet. So Can I give you one of my sites to look at and see where you think I may be going wrong? Please any help would be most appreciated.
Sniper site: RegCleanerVista dot com is on googles first page at number 4 for the keyword phrase "regcleaner vista" It has several backlinks and a reasonable search volume per month of 3600. yet I have been unable to make any sales??????? Any suggestions most welcome...thank you

is that 3600 exact match? I think george uses phrase match in his video, some people prefer exact match. Its all about traffic you know.

Install google analytics on your site and find out how many visitors you are getting to your site.

That way, you can tell if you site isn't converting or if it isn't receiving any traffic.

I am already using google analytics and google webmaster, both say my average visitors for the last month have been just over 10 per day which seems too low with where my site is on the first page of google at number 4? Google keyword tool reveals 3600/mth on exact for keyword
"regcleaner vista" which is my keyword so ...I dont get it?

Remember that position four typically gets 6% of the traffic... so .06 x 3600 = 216

Your global monthly searches are very low (390) for that keyword, i.e. using "exact" match type.

Google Insights reveals "not enough data" to show up on a graph for that keyword.

Also appears to be several free versions available.

This may be the reason you are not making sales.

it is "regcleaner vista" not "reg cleaner vista" and it is getting 3600 exact search per month, so I am still needing some help as to why I am not getting the visitors...Any ideas would be appreciated still?

  • don't try to Target single keyword , use mutiple keyword with different site page when your all site pages ranked with different your traffic will also increase and also sell will automatically increase

I dont know about conversion rates for that kind of sales page but I am guessing you should be making 1 sale for AT LEAST every 200 visitors that you send to their site. at 13 visitors to your site with lets say a 50% CTR to their landing page... that would = 1 sale per month from that site if you're lucky.

Sniper sites only really bring in traffic when they rank #1 for their targeted keyword and I find you need to rank a load of them to really make a decent income from that method.

If I where you, I would outsource the sites and link building... let them age for a year and then see what ones are ranking highest. Make the rankings stronger for the sites that are ranking and split test between Adsense, Clickbank and amazon ads.

My guess is that you target the U.S. market? Okay if it is true then I think I can see what the issue is. The 3600 monthly searches you're talking about are global searches per month. And if you type in "regcleaner vista" into Google Insight you will see that there isnt really any people on the U.S. market searching for this keyword pharse. As I see it there are some from Germany and France. If we go back to Google Keyword tool and look at the local monthly search volume, it says only 58. Which means that only 58 people are searching for that pharse in Goog' every month. So my first guess is that your keyword research simply went wrong.

Otherwise it may be that it is because that the niche you target is simply not in the mood to buy. Thought of it just like yourself if there is a free version out of the program, what is the idea of purchasing the full version? In these days people are looking for as much they can get for free. So my other guess is simply that you have picked the wrong niche.

It was just my 2 cents. Good luck with the site

Based on what I've seen so far. Your probably not going to see much of anything until you snag that number one spot. You are only getting about 5-8% of that traffic in the number 4 spot. Just remember there are two levels of conversions as well. You have to get people to click through to the product sales page and then the sales page itself will have its own conversion rate.

Lets say you get the top spot and get about 40% of the search volume. You will have about 1450 per month which is a little less than 50 per day. If you you convert 20% of them to the sales page for the product, that would be about 10 people. If the sales page converts at 5% then you might get a sale every couple days. In a perfect world, thats about 15 sales per month which is not bad for one small site.

Your page has to convert and the product's sales page has to convert as well. Finding these conversion rates is critical.

Even then, if there are similar products for free, the conversion rates will likely be much lower than you may expect. I would try to find out the conversion rate for the product sales page first. Once you know that, you'll have a better idea of how much traffic you need to send it in order to get a sale.

Then you'll need to go get the traffic. Try for the number one spot (more backlinks). Then try to rank for similar keywords as well until you get the traffic you need. You probably still have a long way to go to see consistent sales.

        Just my 1 1/2 cents.

Just to add to what was said above, of that 3,600 in exact 1,000 are from Germany 590 from France and so on, so if you are only ranking on Google US that won't be much traffic at all.

You could work on getting backlinks from sites in those markets, see if it helps you rank on the right Googles.
Also take off the adsense if you want conversions on your affiliate link.
And conversions are good in this niche, we also have a couple of sites here, so it's worth persisting with

G Sniper is a great course but the keyword research does need to be a bit more detailed than George goes into.
Our first couple of Snipers failed 'cos we made mistakes, but when we started adding our own twist they took off.
Of course all our sniper sites are now much larger than originally planned but, it's worth it on the whole.
Target some good related keywords in more posts, that will bring the right amount of traffic.

And congrats on getting a good ranking so quickly

You have A LOT going on on your site. Banners flashing, sliding up and down, adsense... What you don't know is what your 13 users per day are doing on your site.

Question, do you have G Analytics installed and if so what's your average time on site? If it's over a minute or two, you need to figure out what those users are doing.

To do that, do a one month trial of Crazy Egg and install it on your site. This tool will show you EXACTLY where users are clicking once they get to your lander. Then tweak from there.

I have no affiliation with Crazy Egg, I just dig their heat maps to tell me what users are doing once they reach my pages.

Traffic numbers matter, but the product selection is as important or more important than the traffic numbers. You may need to ditch the clickbank product and find a CPA offer that pays for free downloads.

The links on your page look more like spam links than legitimate links to real companies/businesses. Try to make them more professional, not to mention what other people have said and that is the impression results for your keyword is way to low.

    Hi,

I have an idea about your issues, yes th ekeyword with around 58 us search volume is toooo way low.
You have an yahoo q&a script on your site?

You have to many outgoing links- delete them in the sidebar and so on.
Delete your flashy banner in the header.
Delete comment function (people who comments will go out from your site)

Then put in every page where your information or presell product review articles sit, your link to your cb products (or whatever) -vendor sales page, put this in a place where you get high ctr (you find this out here on wf forum).

And then you will make sales, most of your little traffic will be go out trough your outgoing links.

And when this all not help, look for a better keyword with more search volume and a writer who write better reviews , who can write for conversions.

That will be the key. I have don't understand why a marketer put outgoing links to his site, a marketer affiliate site or adsense site must have a high ctr, that is the first goal.

Look on many topics here who marketers writing and showing examples of some high ctr website structure and learn from them.

    best wishes

I don't know if I'm missing something, but I've searched on google.com for your keywords and your site wasn't listed on the first 2 pages. I also tried google NZ (as per your WF location) and google Oz (as per your profile on your website's location) and still couldn't find your site on the first 2 pages?

That might explain why you get very little traffic.

    Hi,

another notice; try to tank with a better keyword and buy 1-2 recommend big fiverr backlinks, link these backlinks to a web2.0 site first, and then fromthe web2.0 site to your affiliate sniper site.

with a max.medium competitive keyword and 1-2 such fiverr gigs I think you will rank soon.

    best wishes

    Make more of them/diversify

Also no comment on your niche, i dont know it... and i didnt look at the site...

    problem can either be:

    a) Not enough traffic. (Make more sites).
    b) You suck at converting traffic (Get better).
    c) Traffic isnt targetted (You dont have this problem).

    Good luck.

I have looked at the google keyword tool and your keyword phrase has only 1,000 global searches when using the precise search mode which george does say in his training videos the minimum number of local searches he recommends is 3,000 local and 6,000 global so the keyword phrase is to low.

I just looked at your site:

You dont have any call to actions that stand out. This is monetization 101.

Get in your visitors face. Give them something to click. Get them to the sales page of the other site.

Use css button generator to put a big button on your site or something. I am not surprised you are getting no sign-ups. No one will look at the banner. You need a big link that stands out and gets in peoples faces.

Read this post: Test Results: The Best Colour To Increase Conversions!

You need something to get them to sign-up. Something that stands out. Contrasting. What stands out gets clicked/remembered. What blends in gets ignored.

    Hope that helps.
