Meta Titles and Discriptions that Convert??

Ok...

I have several web pages on page one.....but on the 7th, 6th, 5th, 4th, positions....

What Can I say in my Meta Titles and Descriptions to Get more customers to click into my sites.....

to distract away from my competitors in 1, 2, 3 postions???

    I think this is less of an SEO question and more of just general marketing...

    You can never know enough about your demographic/market segment. I suggest getting to understand them better. Offer a free ebook for filling out a survey or something of that nature to get a better feel for the people that are visiting. You can use survey monkey to make your surveys.

      Thanks....I'm actually starting to get into this...because I'm wanting to start building lists...so I need to know as much as I can about my demo's

      Make sure it is short and accurate. Fluff language may be ignored by
      google, and they may show something else.

      If you really mean meta title, that is ignored.

      I assume you mean the title tage <title>, that should be the same way.
      Short, sweet, to the point. And very accurate.
