Well, if you don't have the time to research, I suggest you don't use PPC at all. For what it's worth, PPC on any search engine is a great way to advertise because unlike any other method, you are targeting people at the exact moment they are looking for what you have to offer. Also, Yahoo and Bing have joined their PPC together. You have to use Bing's Adcenter.

But bing is open to US based customers only. I think Google ad word is best, if you are targeting audience globally. I have been running ad word campaign for over one year now. I get a good ROI after three months of initial set up.

Have to contradict you there ;-) I'm in Germany and use Bing.

Well, both SE are great, however if we talk about traffic, google receives more traffic than Yahoo so it would be better to use adwords. but...
you need to know what you are doing, otherwise you could be losing a lot money. you need to test, test and then... keep testing.. that way you will end up running a profitable campaign. but dont expect to have a winner campaign in your first day. That's what I think.
    hope that helps.

Google Adwords will bring you WAY more traffic, thus WAY more sales (although some say conversions on Bing are higher because the audience is not as sophisticated)

The problem is, Google will slap/ban accounts at the drop of a hat, and not give you a good reason at all

If you are using Adwords for affiliate marketing, it's probably not a question of if, but when, your account will be affected. But it can be quite the cash cow

  • you're obviously going to have more potential traffic thru adwords. one thing to take into account is that to run an effective ppc campaign, you should also be running analytics to work out ROI and what's working for you and what isn't. google analytics seems to be well in front here.
