Farmer impact on article networks

Hey there,
I'm in Australia and (as yet) I don't think the farmer update has been rolled out here. We use a number of the private blog/submission networks to get our articles out there, with links back to our sites. Mainly we use Article Ranks and SEOLinkVine< we have used UAW in the past it seems a bit spammy to me.
So is there anyone out there who has used these networks and noticed any impact on their rankings? Most of the time I spin about 85%-90% unique and mix up sentence structure, links etc.
