By "deindexing" do you mean that there are no results even with a "site:www" search or that your sites won't turn up in search results? It's really scary how Google can drop anybody so fast...

Recently I finally manage to make some money from IM, not a lot perhaps $50 ~ $100 daily on the average and then *BOOM* comes the dreaded algorithm update. It sucks because I've only managed to achieve that little result after so many months of hard work and now its just gone with the wind.

My site is still there, one day high up and gone the other. "site:www" still shows lots of pages indexed - in fact G is still indexing more (very aggressively) as I add more content daily. I did some research and found the "Google Dance" phenomenon and thought that perhaps I'd get lucky and its just the dance. Last 2 days my site came back strong and today its gone again.

Ultimately, I was so "inspired" by this incident that I setup a blog and posted just one post dedicated to what I've just experienced.

I'm going to stick my neck on the line and say that the reason for your drop in traffic has nothing to do with the latest algorithm change at all.

It's more likely that it's a new site so, as you hinted at, it's just a Google dance.

A lot of people are blaming changes on the latest update but they probably would of happened anyway... these people need to actually analyze what has happened to their site and exactly why it might be the case.

The important thing is to ensure that pages you get backlinks from:

    1) Are relevant to your niche
    2) Have unique content (ideally will pass Copyscape, at worst <10% duplicate content)

Ensure these two things and you should be in the clear.

My main money making site is 15 years old and it's been on Google's first page for ever. I can't compete with the first 3 places taken for my main keyword, they are taken by a rival with mega-bucks who has paid a promotion company to set them up with literally millions of indexed backlinks. But I've always consistently held the fourth place.

Over the past few weeks my 15 year old site has been doing the Google dance - vanishing completely, turing up on page 4, 5, etc. Today it's back on page one in the sixth position.

All my content has always been 100% unique, totally focused and frequently updated. According to Market Samurai my on page optimization is 100%

So why is Google hitting me this way???

One of my site dancing with Google... I think its due to content update, when I add new page on my site, Google brings this site to normal rankings but if I stop working on it then Google again push it back. So I think Google is considering issue of content update matter.

The sites that were impacted by the Farmer update with content farms and article syndication repositories. As long as you have a good quality site with unique content there is no need to adjust.
