How many keywords?

I just bought two .info to SEO, both are related and I found 4 keywords to work with that could also be split to either domain.

Do I use all 4 keywords for both domain or should I optimize 2 for one and 2 for the other?

You could have 4 for one domain. I would do some more keyword research and find more keywords.

Usually I have two or three to try to rank, and also some slightly mixed to bring variation.

btw a question i always wondered, does it hurt to throw in several more keywords/variations on top of the 3-4 main targeting keywords?

Dont go for to many get the right keyword and work that hard
I found it much easier to rank this way

Don't go for different domains when you have only 4 keywords to target. You can create sub-pages in single domain to target different keywords. Because it is easy to promote sub-pages as compared to a whole new domain.

use 3 in your domain name. consider the length of domain names too. even though it might be little contribution, you don't want your links to break or users to forget your domain names.
