Question/Dilemma

I have a site which i made around the keyword(s) "lose weight fast" and "lose weight".
The site is about 1 1/2 years old now, it has pretty ok content and slowly ranking, position #15 in Google for "lose weight fast" etc.
However, the whole site is optimized and was build around the keyword "lose weight fast" and "lose weight".
My dilemma is now that i started to get interested in a related keyword which is weight loss and some long tails for weight loss.
The dilemma is that i dont know whether to make a new site for this or build upon the existing site.
When i search google for "weight loss" it seems that Google is actually considering the word "lose" too since it is bold in the search results when i search for "weight loss". My site has the words "lose" and "weight" in the domain name.
Scenario/Choices:
1) Georg you are a retard because you want to go for another keyword and haven't even ranked the other keyword to the first page yet. Rank the site for "lose weight" first and then look further. ???
2) I would make a new site and optimize it for "weight loss" since you will have better chances to rank. And more sites in that niche are always good. ???
3) Do it with the old site since it is already somewhat established and you have way better chances to rank with the old site as opposed to a brand new site ???
What should i do?
