Several years ago a friend of mine purchased the domain names below. The names do not rate very high in global or local monthly searches, but I'm wondering if there is value in these domains? Also, the urls are not pointing to anything, if he wanted to continue sitting on the domains would it be better to set up simple websites?

They are good two word domains. I am not sure if they will sell at good price (might try listing at sedo) but they can surely be developed.

If he wants to sell them, he could make a lot more money by setting up websites on them and selling them on Flippa. I have found that selling parked domains, even with good keywords, can have disappointing results.

  These are some good domain names but you may be disappointed if you want to sell them this way.
  
  If you want to raise their values, you have to develop some simply web-pages or even blogs on them, feed them with relevant contents at least for a month and place them for sale.
  
  You will be happier with the returns they will attract.
