Hi,

I have been banned from adsense, due to family and friends clicking on the links. They did not know they was not allowed to do it, and as I am new to internet marketing I never thought to tell them not to do it.

I have appealed against it but got turned down. Is there anything I can do to get it back running again?.

If I can't get it back again, what I am thinking of doing is letting someone else put there adsense on my website, and in return drive traffic to the site. What does everybody think of that. Is it a bad idea? Could I get into trouble for doing that? You can see the website throw the links below. I would put the adsense on each page on the left and right columns. If it is possible and anyone is interested then please let me know.

Any advice would be much appreciated, thank you Rob.

Tend to agree with the previous poster not convinced a few clicks from family got you banned !

Your site is very busy with links to products all over the place , I really struggled to find any original content it's was just landing page to other offers in my opinion with very little value to the reader !

I may be wrong and stand corrected if so !!

With the recent changes in google I think more than ever quality content is king ,,,,

      Good luck

Yes I fully agree with the content. I am having some created as we speak by someone of here her name is rosievip.

I got an email for google adsense saying this:

"After reviewing our records, we've determined that your AdSense account
poses a risk of generating invalid activity. Because we have a
responsibility to protect our AdWords advertisers from inflated costs due
to invalid activity, we've found it necessary to disable your AdSense
account. Your outstanding balance and Google's share of the revenue will
both be fully refunded to the affected advertisers.

Please understand that we need to take such steps to maintain the
effectiveness of Google's advertising system, particularly the
advertiser-publisher relationship. We understand the inconvenience that
this may cause you, and we thank you in advance for your understanding and
        cooperation".

I copy and pasted that so its exactly what the email said apart from a link at the bottom to take me to a rules section.
The only thing I can think of is family and friends, I did click them myself but only around 4-6 times over a period of a couple of months to check if it was working OK.

If anybody thinks I could of done something else wrong to get banned then please could you tell me.

        Thank you Rob.

Ding! Ding! We have a winner. Never click on your own ads. That's just asking to get banned.

Don't you think that Adsense registers your IP when you sign up? What do you think happens when they see clicks on your Adsense account coming from that IP?

What do you think it is just because of the 4-6 clicks? It seems a bit harsh.

Imagine the cost implication to advertisers if everybody clicked their own ads 4-6 times on every site they owned just to see if they were working !!

If ads are displayed on your site why would you think they are not working ?

You can't be banner for invalid clicks. Otherwise i could get rid of my competitors by paying 10$ in some guy from India or Pakistan.

It must of been because they were from the same area that's all I can think of.

The site is too busy and provides almost zero value... video descriptions and other affiliates, is that it?

Also your privacy policy does not work, google requires a bit more than that... not doing your due diligence first got you banned. Google has a terms page for a reason.

Go with someone more lenient such as Chitika... or set up a corporation and get another adsense account (but you will most likely just get banned again.)

I understand where you are all coming from. But remember I have only been doing this for a couple of months. I can't know everything, its all about trail and error and I have made an error so I will learn from it. I just did not understand how it all works properly with adsense until now.
I am sure you all made mistakes when you were starting out. Thank you to the ones that give me some advice.

    Rob.

There are a ton of ways to get banned from adsense, and rarely the clicking on your own ads is there reason unless you sit there and click, click, click.

Did you have any adsense ads that looks like nav links? Did you have any adsense ads next to images? You see if your site looks particularly spammy your going to get nailed sooner rather than later.

The only reason I could see you getting nailed for family member clicks was if they ALL game from the IP address.

      Hi,

Thanks for info. I suppose it does not say I have had invalid clicks on it, if you read the email it says "we've determined that your AdSense account
poses aRISK of generating invalid activity."
So it could be a number of reason I guess. I think I am going to email them asking for the actual reason I got banned and see what they say.

      Thank you Rob.

Dont read too much into it. You only have to click on an advertisement once and you get banned. Read the terms. Google just matched the IP and caught you. It is very easy to detect.

          Please STOP saying such nosense.

No reason to panic people who accidentaly clicked. I have done it 4-5 times in 3 years an NOTHING happened.

"due to family & friends..." - thought u get away with it?
"4-6 clicks" - u thought about 7, but that was ur limit already. 2 to 3 clicks seemed too innocent for you and 1 click felt redicilous, so 4-6 clicks seemed good to blame it on that to earn some compassion.
You're broke and desperate to make pennies online, as i noticed. You wanted to grant yourself the feeling of earning something. "bahh, a few clicks, hmm... who will notice... right???? Internet is so huge and so many adsense clients. :s ) And so you did and couldnt hold yourself from clicking more than once a week. You knew the rules, regardless of how newbie u are.

No offence, sometimes i can't hold myself.

With that said, u got compassion from me. If you're able to soon, check out the adsense 100k blueprint course (no need for adsense, u can monetize in many different ways and make big bucks) it's easy, really. Check the reviews on the warriorforum. Or find something similar, ask around for a great course. Don't got money to pay for? Look around the house and sell some stuff. Everyone has a goldmine in their house without knowing. Stuff u don't need. Sell to invest. Get at it.

U got a choice now, either attack me for the first lines... or take the wise route and look for other possibilities right NOW.

    Good luck, man.

As I understand, you won't be able to reactivate the same account with adsense. However you can apply for new account in the name of your family member and try to apply for a new domain name to host the adsense code.

You can apply for new adsense account again through your company name. Remember to do it honestly this time, and never ever let your friends know your adsense site. And if you detected any unusual clicks you could always message google adsense team and let them know.

yeah it's pretty hard to get banned but once you are banned you pretty much stay banned. I agree, you wouldn't get banned for a few invalid clicks here and there unless that's all the traffic you are getting. More likely Google determined that your AdSense account
poses a risk of generating invalid activity because your site has no clear purpose. Without a clear purpose users are likely there by mistake, and ads displayed are likely pretty random. Users aren't therefore making an informed decision to click on an ad because it's about something they're interested in they're just blindly clicking something.
You can apply for another account in your company name with you company bank details but from the Adsense T&Cs I'd say if it's recognisably you you won't get a new account.

Can we get this straight I NEVER tried to cheat adsense. I have only been doing this for a couple months. Like I said before I did click the ads like 4-6 times within a couple of months, to see if it was working OK. Because I was getting a little traffic I am talking only 10 visitors a day or so sometimes not even that, and I was not earning a penny which because I am new to this I thought I would of earned a little bit, so that is what made me think it was not working properly. So I would click one of the ads then check it the next day to see if it was credited OK. And I did this around 4 times. I also clicked a couple of times by mistake. Any way now I am thinking I did not get banned because of them clicks, I think it could be down to something else. I am going to email them for the exact reason. When I get a reply I will post it on here, to prove I am no cheat.
I would never try to cheat something intentionally, if you new me you would know I am not that kind of person.

      Thank you Rob.

Chances are you will receive the standard email from Google giving you the reasons why your account was canceled.

I bet there where many factors why your account was canceled... the clicks, your website, lack of content and so on.

And as you stated you had NO intention of cheating the system, and I believe you but unfortunately it does not matter.

Google does not care. From their point of view you did not play by the rules, and that's what matters.

As suggested in other posts, I think your best option at this point is to apply for another account under your company name.

        I hope things work out.

All I can say is learn from this as when you're playing with Google's toys you gotta play by Google's rules... Or you're out!

It's a shame really as Adsense (once you know what you're doing) can make a fantastic income with little to no effort.
