    The more people that like it, the more people that read it, the more people that will share it via other methods, the more links you will get, the better it is for SEO.

    I agree. The only problem is that you have to make sure that your friends or followers like the same subject that your website is about.

      Likes are going to become a big indicator pretty soon.

      FB is going to rolling out social search. Instantly 10 billion users will be searching via it. They are going to have to because to make money they need to provide something more relevant to advertisers besides their current model.
