My own adsense sites are just plain white( I wont tell more about ads placement ) but I get around 10% CTR

Mind you I only aim for
"Have you noticed that keyword price result in ZERO profit if there are no clicks? It’s cost/day (keyword price X clicks/day) that makes you rich, not keyword price itself."

Why won't you share your ad placement strategies? If we're not in your niche, we're not exactly competition!

        Hi calfred,

There is definitely some colors that can be called psychological triggers.

Lets look on the ones that I'm familiar with and have used:

Black (Bold) - Says this statement is important
Red - says STOP and look....
Yellow - says slow down and take notice.

While these wont trigger the person to buy per say, what it will do is give your sales copy more of a chance to turn a general lead into a sale and improve your conversion rates.

There is a reason why marketers use this method when preparing their sales letters. You better believe it works.

Don't try to reinvent the wheel - the method works....

Adsense is about attracting a click, not emotions.

Google doesn't have a default color scheme for no reason.

Blue link, white background has stood the test of time.

Don't make your ads disappear. Make them stand out.

There is such a thing as ad blindness.
