Getting your backlinks indexed THIS way..?

I had an idea for helping all those sluggish backlinks you've collected get indexed - a little PHP script that you could run on any server you own and which would generate an RSS feed from all the backlinks you plug into it (say, from a CSV file), except every time you called the script it would generate the feed in a DIFFERENT RANDOM ORDER, i.e. the latest 'entries' would be different every time it was called.

Then you could leverage all those Blogger blogs, Squidoo lenses etc. that you own (well, or Wordpress blogs, provided they are not hosted on the same IP address as your money site, though that might not be a big deal either) and put RSS widgets on them which would pull data from your script in RSS form and basically randomly rotate 6 or 7 links from your 'collection' on the sidebar, or wherever the 'widget' is. Every time the page got crawled by the SEs, of course, different links would turn up, so it wouldn't be a permanent thing. But I have a few PR1 and PR2 pages I could use for this to send some link juice to at least SOME of those languishing backlinks.

Just wondering whether anyone thinks that's worth it - the script would be pretty easy to write, but don't want to waste precious time on an idea that's full of holes...

It's easier to create the backlink url page (100 links), then get a single high PR5-6 baclink & point it at your backlink url page.

Swap out the URLs on your page as they get indexed, which won't take more than a day or two If you have a high PR5-6 backlink pointing at your url page.

You can recycle that single high PR backlink as often as you want, day after day, year after year.

    Done...

Sure, I guess this was just an idea to make it a little more natural - a big page of links is basically a link farm, right? Though I guess you are saying that a high PR page might be enough to 'fix' that - dunno, interesting! Sure it's easier, I don't want to make things more difficult, that's for sure

Who says you can't earn money as an eBay affiliate any more? My stats say otherwise

      Yukon,

If I get this right, can that page be anywhere, meaning it doesn't have to be on your site? And since it only points to the links that point to you, even in the very unlikely case it would be demoted at some point, your site would be ok?

I can only speak for my own sites, & I've never had a problem doing this & getting my backlinks indexed.

Hey bud, I found you posted this exact same method on a different thread about a week ago and I tried it back them. I used blogger to put all list of sites I wanted indexed and I linked back to it with forum profile backlink of a PR6 site. An in addition I pinged it with two different ping sites, I even shot it with a bunch of backlinks from imtalk.org's backlink maker, about 100. And after a week it is still not indexed.

I was thinking of just giving it some more time but I noticed your post here and also you saying that it should be indexed in a day or two, but its been a week for me.

So basically the blog I posted all the links on has not been indexed by google yet, and because of this all my backlinks posted on that blog are not indexed.

any thoughts how to deal with this?

If the high PR backlink you pointed at the multiple backlink/url page is actually a higher PR & the PR is on the page (not some other page) it will happen in a day or two.

Double check the high PR backlink, is it really on the same page as your single backlink?

I just use pingler to get backlinks found. I find google indexes my whole site anyway so wouldn't have use for that tool. Others might find it useful.
