Established Sites Deindexed In Google: How To Fix?

I have had 5 established sites deindexed in Google, they are now nowhere to be found. They are still indexed in Yahoo and Bing so apparently I have breached Google's TOS somehow, but I am not sure how.

The content is solid original content written by me, at least 400 words per post. Most are 6 months to a year old.

The only things I can think of are that they lack a contact us form or contact info on whois that is not updated.

Anyone else run into this, and how did you fix it?

Thanks In Advance,

Andy

Are they truly completely thrown out of the index?

It's pretty crazy if the WhoIs record would do that. I recently turned the majority of my WhoIs records to be private.

I've heard people say using a private WhoIs record is a sign of a non-trustworthy site... which is a load of nonsense... what it really is... is a sign the site owner is getting tired of having their private information exposed to a public world filled with spammers and just plain weirdos.

So, if Google is now penalizing sites for the owners simply making an effort to protect their identities then in my opinion they are becoming a bit nuts over there.

I did some more research and had links from 1 of my sites to some of the others. They were in unrelated niches, and I removed the links. There seems to be some dispute over whether sites on the same IP with the same owner linking to each other is a bad thing, but I used the links to help get indexed and never removed them.

I am willing to entertain anything reasonable and ethical to get reindexed.

      Any suggestions?

    Hi

Have a thorough check of your site. Missing Contact us form and who is information are in no way related for deindexing. There should be some serious issue in your site that google considers unethical. You first remove the interlinking done between your sites. If you have any affiliate links from the home page, remove it. Check for any hidden links (the links that cannot be seen by google) in your site. Check robots.txt file and xml sitemap. Check for spammy links as well - both internal and external. If you have a webmaster account, clear all the crawl errors. Check google guidelines and make the required changes, then apply for a reinclusion in google.

    Hope this information is helpful.

Definitely keep us posted Drew. I'm curious to see whether your sites get re-indexed after removing the inter-links.
