Edited: Read several books (including the ones mentioned in this thread) already, and none of them answered this question.

Hi everyone,

When I look at the estimated CPC that Google gives in the GAKT, is that estimate for the search network or the content network?

There is a guy out there by the name of Perry Marshall, buy his book, it only costs like $50, he'll save you a lot of time and money.

Thanks Tyronne. I think I actually have that book around somewhere, but I thought it was pretty old.

The only numbers that Google gives out that I truly believe are the ones in their Billing Summary

It's for the search network. If you're trying to use it for calculating the CPC for Adsense keep in mind unless you have a Google searchbox on your site you're getting content network CPC (70% but significantly lower).

Thank you. I was trying to estimate the cpc of an adwords campaign, and was debating between the search network and the content network. Your answer helped a lot. Thanks.
