Tips for Blog and forum commenting for everyone

I thought id share a method Ive been using to begin with and then open the thread to more time efficient automated ways as im all about maximizing quality and time on my internet business.

Ive been finding blogs and forums to comment on by

1. typing into Google post comment, reply then the domain im looking at posting on:
post comment site: (then the domain)
reply site: (then the domain)
2. All the searches would provide pages that oe could post and leave a reply for a backlink.
3. If in Firefox, search the pages by PR order you can do this by using seoquake. clearly the higher the page rank the better the quality of backlink will be.

I have used this method to help rank quite a few sites so it absolutely is effective and useful.While this maybe helpful to some it can be time consuming.....
Im wondering from the forums opinion on what are some of the best tools and softwares for finding forum and blog commenting platforms. Im interested to hear on what are the most effective platforms that still provide the user with the ability to pinpoint the search more specifically as the above method does.
