Relevant Backlinks Vs High PR Backlinks

Everyone always talks about how a PR 5 Backlink is worth 2500 PR 0 Backlinks.. etc

So how do you compare a relevant backlink compared to a high PR Backlink?

How much power does a relevant backlink have?

Relevant backlinks with low quality are still useless, Because it will only become a mere link with no link juice. While link from high quality sites is worthy because you will get points from site with high PR. But still give priority to relevant links, much better if it is relevant link with high quality.

I've hear relevancy isn't that much of a priority, but as abow poster I would try to go for relevant high PR links

Get both.

Both are still links.

Time taken to analyze is time wasted in the SEO world, unless one of the choices makes a HUGE difference, then think about it for a while.

  It would be better you create relevant back links as compares to high PR. Google will drive more weightage to relevant back links. If someone create a relevant back link of 2 PR website then it is more beneficial than irrelevant one.

Your backlink profile should be a mixture of both High PR and Relevant Sites. You shouldn't have to choose between the two. It's like asking which is better for you; Food or Drink

Relevancy does not play a big part in your rankings. Its just pure bs by Google. I rank all my sites and my clients site without searching for "relevant backlinks"

I tend to agree but you never know what the future brings. Right now relevance doesn't hold much weight but it could in the future.
