i changed my domain name two time with 301 redirects. the first time, seo wasnt that affected, after a week or so, my pages got indexed back and my serps were ok. Although the second time, google seems to have been slapped my rankings? the hell? I know you have to give it time but it has been more tthen two weeks!

Are you saying your site/pages are not indexed or not ranked or both?

My pages are indexed, however, i deleted bunch of posts...but still. My off page seo was strong i guess but my serps just got the boot, this is weird.

If you "deleted bunch of posts" then you you may have "deleted" a bunch of ranking power.

Did you create 301 Redirects for each and every post you deleted? That may help recover some of your PR, but all the benefit from internal links will remain "deleted".

You might be more affected by Google's recent change than the redirect. Sounds like it may have coincided with your change.

You can't just delete pages, & expect to still hold a SERP position for your keyword.

Setup an entire site 301 redirect back to the Index page (or whatever) to catch any 404s, at least you'll send Google back to another page on your site, since the old URLs didn't get an exact redirect (per page). Still the damage is already done...

I try to tell people, a url is the last thing you want to mess with once it's ranking in the SERPs, don't mess with it unless your 100% sure you don't care about that pages SERP position.
