Hey guys,

I did the research about the Google Dance and to tell you the truth I have no idea what's the status of 2 of my sites is.

They both got disappeared (their home page) from Google but when I do site:my site all the pages appear so that should be good, right?

On the other hand, it's more than a month now since they have disappeared and they still haven't returned, I have a site that is more than 3 months gone and hasn't returned...so this does not look like a dance to me...

Ideas?

Sites were on pages 1-2 of Google before they vanished, didn't blast with links or anything, built them slowly and OK with article sites, blogs commenting and blog posts here and there...

I am very pissed, I know I've asked this before but I am so frustrated I have no idea what to do (yes, keep building links) and what scares me is that this does not look like a regular dance at all....

Your thoughts?

Thank you guys!

I wrote 8 articles on ezinearticles and then put a backlink back yo my site but I think google saw it like spam because my site also vanished from the first page...

So my question for you is, did you post your articles to the same article directory?

I've seen the Google Dance. Trust me, this is the Google Dance. Just sit tight, keep doing what you're doing.

How can you be sure man?

My sites are not re-appearing for too long, this does not look good or right.

      Hey man,

I have wrote articles to point to my site and published different articles on various article directories, including EZ...

But yes, I have let's say 2-3 different articles in EZ and other article sites that point to the same site...so that would be looked as spam by Google?

What's the alternative? Not post on article directories at all? That doesn't seem right.

Or post just one article to one site from each article directory?

      Thanks,

        Thanks,
You should always use article directories but maybe not 8 articles to the same directory like me...

Try to post on one directory and then let it "rest" for a while. A backlink from different directories is much more valuable and for just one.

I think google will see it like spam if you post to the same site several tomes and use the same anchor text.

I hope its OK to post the link here... You might find it useful.
My sites are less than a year, yes...

Maybe this comes because they are so called small sites with not too much content? Although they are not so mini-sites....don't know already.

They were on pages 1 and 2 for a long time (2-3 months) and now vanished. I have sites that vanished 4 months ago and still haven't got back but when I do the site:my site they do appear with all their pages - so what do I need to understand from this? Any idea?

It doesn't look good because the time that goes by and sites that don't re-appear is too long...that is why it does not look like a regular dance anymore.

There was a time when some of the sites got back ever higher a bit for 1-2 days and then vanished again to this day...

I really am frustrated and look for help although I know I sound like a broken record, sorry guys....you work hard on the site, write original content, build links manually and then this happens and it damages all my sales...

I think you should post article to different articles directory instead of on article directory.

Maybe you should wait a little longer. Rank changes a lot after Google Panda updating, many websites which posted articles to those article directories lost their ranks, but not all websites who posted articles to article directories were doing contents farm, so I think Google will fix the problem, it won't punish any websites just because it post articles to article directories, or article directories definitely will sue it!

OK, I'll wait and see but it takes too long and that what scares me here.

I always post articles to various article directories, so that's not the problem, that is why I've started this thread, I have no idea why the sites vanished after were #3 in Google.co.uk and #5 and #16-17 on Google.com
