Which blog site is best for SEO work?

I hear some people saying blogger blogs are not good for optimization. Is it true? Then which one is the best blog site that I can optimize after writing blogs? What about Wordpress? I heard google love wordpress.

No It it not true Because I think blogger blogs are very good optimization. blogger is best blog for SEO.

There is nothing bad with Blogger. Its owned by Google and many successful blogs are hosted on blogger. You can rank it exactly as other websites without any problem. The other famous service is wordpress which is good as Blogger.

  With Wordpress there are some plugins you can install that make the on-page SEO optimization a little easier.
  
  Blogger can be optimized just as well though. If you are hosting a site on Blogger, just be sure to read their TOS and follow it.

Wordpress is far better, thousands plugins available to boost your SEO and you can do whatever you want with your wordpress blog on your own domain. Blogger have some restrictions. For example, 6 months ago, I have created a blogger blog and the same day, I have built about 100 backlinks pointing to it. The blogger account got suspended. Blogger is owned by Google so they have big eyes on you.

Its surprising!!! For building 100 backlinks google suspended ur blogger site?? Building backlinks is one of the legitimate method for doing SEO. Isnt it? Then why google suspended ur blog?! I think there are another problems.

I think blogger and wordpress both are really good for SEO. You will find many blogger site have high page rank like 5, 6, etc.

But you will be able to make more attractive web site using wordpress than blogger.

Agreed. If I remember correctly, blogger doensn't have anywhere you can setup your meta tags do they? I think you have to do a hack/edit the code, whereas I know with wordpress you can use SEO plugins which make a big difference to rankings.

I am using blogger and I have not seen anything bad. So I think there is nothing bad in using blogger. But you can try other blog sites too like weebly.

Depending on the niche I'm going in I will either buy the domain and hosting or I'll create a blogger site. Especially if I want to test a small sub niche I'd rather create a blogger site than pay money on a domain to run wordpress. The downside is you can not sell your blogger sites but if that doesn't matter to you no worries.

I've had great success with SEO and Google rankings with my blogger sites.

I won't say blogger blog is not supportive, though i can say, word-press is offering something extra, for instance, you can even change permalink while publishing, and can ad sound information with images.

For expert users it is very easy to create a master piece by using only few tools. It
depends upon you needs, requirements and expertise to build a blog. So both the blogger and wordpress are good for blog building but the attractive design selection and good contents can make it worth seeing and popular among visitors. There is no SEO problem with blogger because it is owned by google itself.

Both are great blog sites, but its a matter of what fits you for whatever you are trying to do. Wordpress is more multipurpose than blogger does. They both are really easy when it comes to writing posts.

It would be best if you try multiple blog services. Monitor your U.S. rank on Alexa and see which blog service lowers the U.S. traffic rank faster. The one that lowers the fastest is the one you should stick with!
