My analytics just died, majorly!

I have been doing quite well recently, ranking number 4 on page one for my main keyword, getting lots of traffic daily, then seven days ago my traffic steadily began to drop off. My site is now receiving half of what it was before.

I actually put a bunch of content on my site to boost my page and links structures power. All of the content is relevant and linked well, to relevant pages.

What gives? Why is this happening?

I didn't change my copy or anything.

I have seen temporary shuffles in Google quite a lot after making any major changes to page. Even the most positive changes. I'd wait to see if you don't bounce back.

One of my blogs had the same problem, also starting about 7 days ago. It has slowly started to come back. I've seen this before, and you typically just wait it out. Continue posting, and adding good content.

Try to get some more backlinks to the pages that were kicked downstairs by Google, too. That will often help them come back that much faster. I've even seen occasions where this has happened to me, that when things came back, I actually ranked even higher than before I dropped.

On the downside, I have also seen it take months to get the rankings back.

Well I am always adding fresh content. So hopefully I go up.

No. I'm pretty white hat when it comes to ranking my site. Except for a few links a day via scrapebox. But those few links are what got me there. And when I say few, I mean 10 to 20 diferent types of links every other day, hand posted.
