Backlinking Information Overload!

Hey Fellow Warriors!

I'm trying to decipher all the back-linking services, courses, books, software etc... that exist out there in IM world. I'm pretty much in a mental coma from all the various choices available and would like your advice, opinions, experience, etc..

Specifically, products or services you have tried that work, ones that don't quite meet the hype, and any other useful advice in this area.

I treat my by business as a business and am always willing to invest in it, just don't want to invest in garbage!

Also, If there is already a good thread on this please point me there.

Thanks

Your question lets me know you are going through a information overload shock. First off let me take a look at your page you are going to be promoting.

As far as backlinks, Google wants unique content. SENuke is supposed to be the best bang for your buck as far as creating backlinks go. Here are the top tools in order from what I have percieved: XRummer $600, SENuke $127 monthly, Scrapebox $100, Bookmarking Demon $147.

You need to get Market Samurai so you can target some keywords that you can rank first page for. A keyword that has sites like yahoo answers, forum listings, article directories can be ranked for pretty easy. Not easy finding good search weak first page competition but can be done.

You can do a lot of good backlinks by submitting 10 articles a day on Ezine Articles with your main keyword in anchor text and a click here for the other link. Make sure you are targeting a beatable keyword that will not take you forever to rank for.

I just want to point out that you can get Scrapebox much cheaper than the listed $100. I have the program and I absolutely love it. I have a program that will harvest over 100 fresh proxies for me every morning and then I run the program with my keywords and sites.

You can find the discount here: Scrapebox Discount - $57

SE Nuke X just came out and is supposedly much better. It's been reviewed very favorably. I suggest understanding how to backlink properly before getting any software. I suggest getting backlinks from many sources (Youtube, forum profiles, press releases, articles, slide share, etc.) and using relevant KWs for anchor text.

I recently read on here somewhere that you shouldn't always use your main keyword as anchor text...

Anyway, I hear ye dude... I'm starting to get my head around the whole backlink thing.

For me, I use socialmonkee... have a premium account, as I've reffered 23 people now.

      Social bookmarking.

Article marketing, to hell with ezinearticles... you mention your keyword a couple of times, and they won't submit it... use other, more reliable article directories.

Web 2, such as squidoo and hubpages... although I don't think you get a dofollow with hubpages until your hub has a score over 75.

Youtube.. I'm just getting started with this as I've been behind china's great firewall.

As for paid software, I will probably get some when I start to compete with stronger competition, at the moment, my competition is not too bad.

But I know what you mean about information overload... I put backlinks into youtube yesterday, and got this convincing chap,
How To Get Free Backlinks using Free Traffic System

Does it work, I don't know.. I'm a little wary of toying with some software as I know if you take the pi55 with backlinks google will slap you.

Thing I like about social monkee is, you can drip feed your links, over a period of time.

Google, she be a fussy oul git.

I will never let go of Ezine Articles because of their strength in size and quality. Its harder to get articles accepted than any other directory and they get the most traffic. They are the most powerful article directory in Google's eyes even after they took that recent hit.

That's like saying the hell with the U.S and you want to be a successful business owner. You can do it somewhere else but why would you?
