Twitter for backlinks Yea? Nay?

I recently started using MarketMeSuite to brand all my tweets with anchor text that is relevant to my niche. Basically, where you see "posted via tweetdeck" you have the opportunity to put your keywords and link back to your site there.

Does anyone see this as a good way to get good solid sticky backlinks? Or Not?

    A few backlinks from there is definitely a good thing, as the more you can differentiate the sources, the better. But I doubt if you would see some good results by getting hundreds and even thousands of backlinks from there... only together with backlinks from many other sources.

    And it looks like links from social networks have higher value after latest google update.
