How to create baclinks to articles and push rankings up without submitting them ?

Hello Everyone ,


I'm starting on a project to create back-links to 800 odd articles across a niche without submitting them to various articles submission directories . I would like to know which are the techniques ( forum profiles or blog commenting , forum commenting , etc. ) that will help me out . Feel free to comment on this .

    Try Social Bookmarking if you do not wish to submit these
    Others include linking to them through web 2.0 sites, forum links (These wont stick for long though)
