    You can post as many as you want in a day. I'd recommend setting them up on a schedule and allowing one or two to post per day. Google really likes that kind of content and it helps build your site on search engines.

    i see. so it's really helpful?

    does it have to be SEO optimized? What exactly is that, and what would i have to look out for when writing the articles?

  • Despite what a lot of people teach, my belief is that the very best SEO you can do for your business is to have excellent onsite content.

    If you do, Google will pick it up.

    You'll hit long tail keywords.

    You'll get other people linking to your blog/site and creating natural backlinks.

    Once you have a decent amount of onsite content, you can reduce your publishing schedule and start to concentrate on the offsite stuff. But onsite will always win for me for a new site that you're patient enough to build up slowly.

    hello, by onsite content, you mean like posting stuff on (mydomain)/blog even though (mydomain) is the website which i'm actually trying to promote?

    but if people want to create backlinks to your site (which i assume means mention your site url out in full, right?) that'll need to impress them alot. why not purchase a backlinks package, where there're around 9000 backlinks? that's probably more the number of people would normally mention your site right?

    If you have a young website you probably don't want to buy that many backlinks at once. Buying large amounts of links are great for aged sites but Google doesn't get too happy when a brand new site gets that many backlinks.

    I'd recommend getting some content going then go to fiverr and buy some small packages of backlinks that Google won't mind.

    Just remember, great content is the way to succeed. People will republish your content and send even more traffic to your site.

    You can post several articles a day definately. Just make sure its high quality content and your quids in! As for backlinks, go after fewer High PR Blogs. Like a few comments above dont go getting 10k Backlinks from loads of PR0 sites. Google arent going to be massively friendly towards this. Just buil BL naturally and steadily. This is the best way in my opinion from what ive done

    Cheers

    Make sure you setup your blog seo friendly and target your keywords before you start writing. Make sure you change the permalink (most important). While posting articles make sure you use the <h1><h2><h3> tags along with bold italic and underline. These are important and finally build some backlink

    Its easy to setup a blog. If you have any question PM ME.

    @jay,
    i don't think my website is too young, my domain was registered around a year+ back, though i just redesigned my site not too long ago. when does the age start from?

    @mello
    thanks for your advice, but how exactly do i do this, "go after fewer High PR Blogs"? how do i build backlinks steadily?

    @iudtig
    thanks for offering, how am i able to contact you?

    from what I know right now, i've set up my myurl.com/BLOG, and posting articles relating to it. i sell game currency, so i'm talking about the game, and in the last few paragraphs, i'm saying how hard it is to earn currency there, and introduce my site as an option to buy stuff. is this a good idea?

    besides these articles, i've also added in the tags, for wordpress. does this have any effect? what else do i have to do?

    so i assume google will come along crawling to mysite.com/BLOG and pick up the links and keywords that i've put in my article? but that's only a +1 to my backlink right?

    every post you make is like a new website for google so it could rank better than your main domain for example myblog.com/first-post-ever could be 1st place and thenfind myblog.com like in the page 5 so yeah it is a good source for ranking in google
