I am a newbie in SEO, and I want to promote a website related to clothes selling. Which tool is better to use for me? Thanks!

To find keywords, I would recommend Market Samurai and Google's AdWords keyword tool.

Avoid using any readymade tool which claims instant ranking rather work hard and write helpful content for website visitor and they will bookmark your website
Actually there are few tips which you can follow like >>
# Onpage optimization
Unique content.
Internal link building
Updated sitemap.
Keyword in anchor text.

# Offpage optimization
External link building: forum posting, article submission, blog comments.
link trade with relevant websites.

You can also refer mattcutts blog for latest SEO tactics.

The very first step is to get they key, in SEO terminologies, keywords, you can get healthy keywords using certain keyword research tools, such as Elite or Market Samurai.

Employ these keywords in blog contents, back linking, bookmarking, directory submission and so on with quite longer list of bullets.

First you have to do on page like update content on website but content is unique, relevant and informative and website layout is good after that make meta tags and update it. You can use Google add words tool for keywords research. Then you can start off page activities like directory submission, social bookmarking, article, PR and blog posting, forums posting, blog commenting, free classified adds etc.

hi, first of all you need to do onpage optimization and then go for off page optimization. I am several important activities in onpage optimization:
1. Meta Tag Optimization
2. Image Optimization
3. Hyperlink Optimization
4. Contwnt Optimization
5. Create Robot.txt file and Create sitemap for your site.

After doing onpage optimization you can do off page optimization like
1. Directory Submission
2. Social Bookmarking
3. Article & Press Release
4. Forums
5. Classifieds

Did your website's domain name contain keyword? You want to focus on one brand clothing or lots of brands? You're wholesaling or do the CPS business? ... Seriously, you need give more details, actually this kind of question make me want to use lmgtfy.

Start with SEO. At this point you understand why, but the how may be what eludes you. This is not an "if you build it, they will come" type of scenario. This is heavy lifting work...there's just no way to sugar coat it. However, if you start with these three areas you'll be well on your way.

Page Content. You must optimize every page on your site. This includes careful consideration of the page titles within the code, the page URL name itself, the header of the page, the body text, amongst other content points.

Press Releases. While press releases aren't what they once were to reporters, they are an excellent SEO vehicle. This is simply due to the access to Internet news portals the end user now has (Google News, etc.). So be sure to utilize this tool to drive traffic to your site.
