How to sell Adsense sites?

Hey all I have a couple of questions about some Adsense sites I want to sell. I have about 35 of them and want to just sell a few of them to see what the market is like, get involved in site flipping, etc.

Basically I have focused on authority sites and I have a couple dozen Adsense sites with potential I know will do well if they are promoted.

Some quick facts:

- age - almost 2 yrs for each
- each site has about 40-50 articles
- kws were carefully chosen
- content is unique and actually helps the visitor
- each sites makes maybe a few bucks a month

I want to sell off 10 of these sites, because I know I'll never have time to promote all of them, my authority sites and the ones I end up keeping.

Can anyone explain what a fair price would be to package all 10 of them together?

I also have a stupid question, but how do you transfer all of the content and the domain name to the new owner, etc? Is it a dificult process?

Thx for any help

sites usually sell for how much they are earning per month x 12. So if your site makes $100 a month you could sell it for $1200. If they make nothing you might be able to get $100 or more. Just list them on Flippa

I'd sell them individually on Flippa. A package deal won't fetch you as much money. I can usually get around 18 months' worth of a site's income.

We package our sites together pretty regularly and tend to do pretty well. Take a look at the link in our sig for a new package we're offering right now...we'll be offering that package on Flippa on Friday morning for 19x revenue BIN, with a $1 No Reserve auction.

Take a look at some of the sold AdSense sites on Flippa for some good ideas on what should be included in the listing and to get some ideas. Buyers are typically looking for proven income, so having income on the sites will help. We keep most of our sites, but sell some off to help fund our expansion and the creation of more sites only...otherwise we sit on the passive income ourselves! hehe

Once you've agreed to a sale, either use escrow.com or secure payment before transferring anything.

The domain name is either 'pushed' - if the buyer has an account with the same registrar, you will be able to 'push' it over to their account - or transferred if it's a different registrar. A transfer simply requires selecting a 'transfer domain' option and providing the buyer's info, however there's usually a 'transfer' fee similar to a new domain registration fee.

Transferring the contents will depend on the type of site. If it's an HTML site, you can backup & zip all the files, and give them to the buyer. If it's a Wordpress site, you'll need to backup the site, then the buyer will have to install Wordpress, and import the backup. If you're using a paid theme, make sure it's either transferable, or the buyer buys a license.

Lastly, either you or the buyer will need to change the nameservers so they point to wherever the buyer is hosting the site.

I would just keep them and keep expanding them, unless you need money fast.
