Passes my test, BUT can you monetize? If you can, then worth going for....if I were you I would start a small Adwords campaign before investing heavily. There are no ads showing (worrying) but it should mean you can get top spot for cheap.... regards Allen

I think you've done a great job finding a niche, the key is monetization.

There are plenty of ways to do that, Fuad has a great idea as well.

But in regards to picking a niche, what DO you know about?

If there is something that you like or love, it will make a big difference.

It is worth a try since there are so many searches per month. But you might want to consider whether you can start this venture to earn long term income.

What are the other products you can promote to this niche market? Since it takes the same amount of effort to start the business, I would start in a niche market which have many different products to promote.

Fifa 12 comes out in 6 months so the site would only have limited use unless you don't use Fifa 11 in the domain name.

It would probably work well with a content locker. They usually pay about $1 per survey completed. You could put some game related CPA offers on the site also such as free PS3 or free XBOX 360 offers which would likely convert well.

Now maybe a good time to create a site for Fifa 12 cheats so your domain is aged a bit by release date and gained some trust with Google.

OK, I just had to comment on this one...

33k searches (and without any analysis of my own but based on previous comment) 6k completions - could be a good niche.

BUT...

You do realize that you just posted it to a forum with a few thousand of enterprising readers, right?

My previous experience have shown that any time I show a specific niche, even to a few hundred of my customers - I immediately create myself a competition. You just did it on a much larger scale...

Correct and incorrect assumptions people have about selecting a good (profitable) niche…

A Niche You Are Passionate Or Knowledgeable About – Maybe Not?
Failure for many people starts right here – and it is not really their fault as they were just following what they have been taught and what they have read many, many times.

They were told something like this:-
Sound familiar?

“Picking a niche is important and you will be spending a lot of time working on your niche. Therefore, it is best if you are passionate (or at least interested) about your niche. Being passionate about your niche means you can show yourself as the expert and you won’t mind spending hours and hours writing great website content for your readers.”

Sound reasonable?

It is complete and utter bull****.

Now, that is a very strong statement and it deserves to be qualified and explained. To do that, you must ask yourself a question.

What do you want your niche (website) to be...either...

Is it a one-off project that you are going to (or want) to build for the long-run where you WANT to be the expert, seen as the expert and you are not that bothered about making money from it?

Or...

Do you want to enter into a niche to make money and move on to the next money maker as quickly and painlessly as possible?

If the answer is a) then, sure, you are much better off being passionate about your niche as it will certainly help you to write content and think up product ideas.
But, if the answer is b) then the niche is completely and utterly irrelevant.

The only thing that matters is CAN YOU MAKE MONEY FROM IT?

I am guessing, but I could be wrong (though I am not), that for 99% of you reading this, the answer is that you want a niche market to make money – that is your number one objective.

And further to that, 99% of you want to get into enough profitable niche markets that you can quit your job as soon as possible, live down by the beach and work … uhmmm… let’s say about 3 hours a week.

Entering into a niche you are passionate or interested in can actually HURT your business. You may find that you spend way too much time concentrating on the content of your site and not enough time concentrating on the money making side - such as getting visitors and buyers.

I've selected This Niche , But I'm not sure If I should Write an Ebook , Sell it. I've calculated about That If I get a 3-5% conversion Rate , That's around 50k Pa. Or I should write an Information Website , In wordpress. Not sure yet.

Id recommend writing an ebook because then you can monetize with CPA offers on the site also so even from the people who don't buy the ebook you may still make money.

It's the biggest selling sports game of all time so the scope is huge if you get the traffic.

Not the best way to look at this. It will be stolen, every time, if it's
profitable enough and looks attractive.

You're giving far too much credit even if your esteem toward others
is quite noble.

  Assuming that you were simple-minded enough to name what you had meant, yes this is an excellent niche to get into as long as you know how to monetize. As someone suggested, content locking may be a good option, at least it is something I would definitely think of trying.

Looks like a good niche to get into. Even if the next edition of the game comes up in next few months, people would continue to play the current edition for few months at least.

Regarding monetization, Selling an ebook or using a Content locker are best ways to monetize the site. A great way to get more traffic to your site is to create a facebook fan page and twitter account and post cheat snippets while leading the users to the main site to get all cheats.

THere are lots of good CPA sites such as NeverBlue, Maxbunty, CpaWay etc.

As far as Content Locking is considered, well it is a monetization technique which requires a user to fill a small survey before he/she can see the content. You can earn as much as $1 or even more every time someone fills a survey. So you are monetizing the page by hiding the content and allowing the users to read it only after survey is filled.

For content locking CPALead and LeadBolt are good options.

I don't want to Content Lock. I've seen this on Many sites and I bet their Bounce rates are 80% +. I'll look into the CPA thing.

its about testing.

For about 10 niches I try, 2 are ok, and 1 really hits the ball out of the park.

The funny thing normally is that the ones you think are crap end up being very rewarding...and the ones that you think are great, end up to be dismal. That is what i like but,....so you can test and test.

It is all about the niche you are in, their passion and how much money they have. You should be able to answer these questions right off the bat.

But if not, do smaller scale testing and tweaking. Then you will see if you have a winner or your are simply wasting your time. If you are, move on to your next niche. That is what I have done for years.....and it works well.

All good advice, especially Fuad's, imo. That's a lot cheaper than you would pay for someone professional to write an ebook for you, and some of the kids are absolute geniuses at various games.
