I just started posting articles on squidoo and hubpages.

I want to link these to the squeeze page and to ezine articles--to get that extra traffic boost. I don't know whether to start a new page for each one, or to make separate pages... tips?

It seems like your choices are the same?

You still need to get the hubs and lenses ranking to get traffic to your landing page (unless you are just using them for backlinks).

Focus on results rather than quantity. Make as many hubs and lenses that you can manage to get a worthwhile amount of traffic. Same hub or new ones really make no difference. if you can get a hub to rank for multiple keywords than the more traffic it AND your landing page will get.

Since the latest Google update hubpages had a lesser value for backlinks the way it use to be the best thing you could do on hubpages now is to keep your previous hub score to 75 and up, well squidoo is a good content site after submitting you r article on this site you could do a social bookmarking for that article

HubScore over 75 = links become dofollow.

Hi, can i ask why people want to build backlinks from hubpages? Because each person is given a site such as yourname(dot)hubpages(dot)com. This is considered as a domain in the eye of google, so unless you build your hubpages site to very high page rank, the backlinks from your hubpages site are not good at all.

For squidoo, since each article we write is added to squidoo.com site and this site has very high page rank. So, a backlink from one article in squidoo will worth a lot more than a backlink from hubpage, right?

But isn't it the value of the page it is on more than the site anyway?

I'd rather choose Squidoo over Hubpages. Why? Squidoo is very easy and will push you to make or stuff your lens with quality content. On the other hand, Hubpages links only become do-follow when you reach a hub score of 75 and that's quite a handful to handle or maintain.

One secret I can reveal about Squidoo is not to do too many direct links. They have a mechanism of seeing from where the crawlers come from. So any time you do a bigger amounts of links, your squidoo lense gets deleted.

If you are doing Squidoo link building, dont do it massively or you will lose the page. Use buffering sites.
