Filter Adsense Ads

I just recently got adsense on my blogs.

The ads I am getting are a far cry of what my content is all about.

How do I filter this irrelevant ads and end up with ads relevant to my content?

    How targeted is the content on your blog? Are you using enough keywords in your content to trigger the appropriate ads? I've found that revising some of the content I have and adding or taking away certain words can change the ads which show.

    I also use the Adsense ad filter. If you go to something like "Allow and block ads" in your Adsense account, you'll see that there are Advertiser URLs that can be blocked, as well as general categories, which have sub-categories within them.

    If you're consistently getting ads showing from advertisers that have nothing to do with your site, take note of the advertiser's URL (without clicking your own ad) and put it in the list of URLs to block. I once had, for some reason, a Chinese dating site advertisement showing on a health/medical site of mine. I don't want that on any of my sites, so I blocked it.

      dont forget about the keyword targeting code and the supression keyword code to ignore "certain" phrases on your page... thats how you optimize your pages not by blocking sites you dont like

    Here is what I would do to filter irrelevant Adsense ads on my website or blog. I would use Ad Review center. Adsense category filtering lets you to filter ads up to 5 specific categories such as religion, politics, and dating from appearing on your website. Category filters allow you to block contextually and placement-targeted ads in certain ad categories from appearing on your site.


    To access Ad Review Center, follow these steps:
    1. Sign in to your AdSense account.
    2. Click AdSense Setup tab
    3. Click Ad Review Center link.
    4. Choose up to 5 categories to filter and click Submit to save your selection.

    you will find that if the traffic came off a search engine, it will show relevant content... if your page dont get much traffic, then it will show unrelated traffic IF that page dont get visited a lot DIRECTLY!
