Amazon UK v Amazon US

After asking a question last week on backlink strategies, Some of the replies gave me ideas and I now have my site ranked number 1. So thank you WF Members! This question is more for people in the UK. I'd like to know which Amazon (UK or US) you see better results with. In the UK we are capped at £7 a sale, meaning whether we promote a product of £150 or £6000 (not entirely sure of how low the price of a product has to be) we only receive the capped rate of £7, which is around $10.
Now some people would say if you sell something from US Amazon at a bigger commission, the obvious answer would be to choose Amazon US, yet for things like TV's we (UK) have our own range models meaning competition sometimes is lower.
So which version of Amazon do you see better/increased sales with?
