yes, that's true,.....forum posting and article writing are very good ways to build your backlinks , but it does take some time before your get enough links out there to make the difference if you're only using these methods. There are several other ways to build links that you should integrate with these, such as social bookmarking, press releases, podcasts, social networks, videos, just to name a few.

You can add paid links from quality related sites as one of the techniques too.

There are hundreds of methods, the easiest way to generate tons quickly is by giving away something free... Have a think about it.

Guest posting. The blogs you guest post on will be your 'Private' article directory. It's SOOOOOO MUCH less spammed, and SOOOOO MUCH more in term of quality as a backlink to your website.

There no such thing as getting backlinks in a fice way. If you want to have better results, I suggest that do all possible link building methods in creating backlinks.

Based on experience, I got thousands of backlinks through blog commenting. But i's still using some other techniques for SEO.
