never use the submit button or you'll have to stand in line like the others. Jump to the front by letting Google come to you. You'll get indexed faster that way.

So you're saying that submitting your site map to google is a bad move?

This is the first time I've heard this, advice is to the contrary.

I'd like to here more views on this.

I dont use Google's Webmaster Tools. All my sites are indexed in a few hours.

he didn't mention anything about sitemaps so I figured it would be for direct submission of website url not sitemaps.

Just make a simple page with your keywords using h1, h2, h3 codes and slowly build everyday and it will get indexed within a few days or so. But its quite surprising seeing that your sig has a PR4 listed in Flippa but maybe there's something else that may be wrong with the domain name as to was it banned before?.

I always do these 3 things and my sites seem to get indexed pretty quick...

1. Submit Sitemap to Google
2. Forum signature link on a couple of forums
3. Add a link from a youtube video

When I search my site with google, ie, "http://www.mysite.com"

And my website doesn't come up... does this mean that it's not indexed? On, http://ismysiteindexed.com/ it says it's indexed by google.

Getting indexed is simply a matter of doing a few back links to sites that get decent traffic, and submitting your site map to your Webmaster tools account.

It seldom takes me more than an hour or two to get a site indexed. The hard part for me has always been getting the damn site to the first page of Google. And until you get it on that page, you might just as well not even be on the web.

I think you should wait just a little more and do not worry your site will be indexed if it is original and has some visitors on it. For 1 of my sites it took 5 weeks so don`t worry.

It's really funny why google is taking so time...my sites get indexed with in 1 hour...Use bookmarking sites then google will sure index your site....

I've done pretty every suggestion here and then some, and my site is nowhere to be seen.

I hope it's not a repeat of another site that took about 2 months to show up on google.... that site is now serp 14... the competition is low, and I seo'd the $hit out of it.

Anyway... it's been about 3 days, and my site's not on google.

Just to clarify, when you say indexed, you mean, when i put my url into googles search bar, the site shows up?

It's not there when I put I search for it.

For indexing your own sites in Google, Google webmaster tool is best & also you can create dofollow back links to your sites from high quality sites & high PR pages to get your sites indexed quickly.

Google bot visits high PR pages more frequently, so there's good chance of indexing by getting high PR dofollow back links.

I have been using google webmaster tools to submit the pages for indexing. One important thing which you should take care of while submitting for indexing that ever use complete URL of your page. For example use "www.yourdomain.com/abc/xyz.html" instead of this "www.yourdomain.com/abc/".

you can get fast indexing on search engine using through high PR Backlinks on actual pagerank pages. all links should be dofollow from high authority sites.
