How do i rank for other keywords?

Hi warriors,

I have two sites in different niches. They are both ranking on the first page for my main keyword. I have been doing SEO on these for a while to get them to rank for these keywords but now i want to rank for other keywords. To rank for other keywords do i have to leave backlinks to my other pages IE google.com/trends instead of just google.com

Find some related keywords from the wonder wheel ,make new post on your site with these keywords and also install the "seo search terms 2" plugin if you have wordpress.

And then build backlinks to your new posts.

you can also make new category in the keywords you want to rank , then start post related posts to these categoies.

If you got pages to rank well for keywords using SEO then just apply those parctices using new keywords and pages that you want to rank for now.

To rank for other keywords you need to run an SEO strategy which is designed according to your niche keywords and try to write quality content for better results over search engine.

The best way to do this is to just check your stats often. You'll notice trends and will start getting small amounts of traffic for keywords you never would have thought of. Take the keywords that get a fair amount of clicks and build pages that are optimized around them. Use the Google Wonder Wheel to make sure you've got plenty of related keywords on your new pages, do SEO as you normally would, and off you go.

It's an endless cycle. Your new page will start generating traffic from various search terms in addition to the one your targeting, you can build additional pages on some of the terms, etc.
