AdSense optimized wordpress themes?

Hi there,
Does anyone recommend or know of a good AdSense optimized wordpress theme?
Ideally something free - or relatively cheap as I am just wanting to test out one small site at this stage.
I know there are some great software engines out there to design themes, but at this stage I am really just wanting it for one site so don't want to invest in a big system - which would be uber handy if i do get to making 100 sites.
It is quite important to me that i can edit the footer, or if there are links that cant be removed - that they are not too offending and are tucked away somewhere.
